I've been referred to Furcadia by several people from another community. They have rules against inappropriate material, but some gaming sites are know to make disgusting exceptions.

Is Furcadia appropriate, as in morally safe? I'm trying to hang out with nice people that are a good influence.

Depends. Normally it's ok... unless you worm your way into FurN.

I was REALLY into Furcadia about a year and a half--two years ago. But I had some great RPG'ing buddies and everything ran smooth. (Cept for this one guy who became obsessed with me and would follow me wherever I went because I was friends with his brother...but that's a whole 'nother story.)

I'd say Furcadia is appropriate. If you find the right people to RPG with everything should be great. ;) Good luck!

Furc is good...unless you, yes, wind up in the dodgy end of it. I have some great people I RP with, and it's gooood fun. Even if you're just there to chat. :)

I don't know about the site first hand, but I know of a lot of great people that are on the site, so I guess that's a yes for me. Oh, and even if it's not, it's not like things like that will permanently damage your personality and lead you on a downward spiral, it all boils down to the choices you make. As long as you try to follow your own morals, you can remain clean no matter what sludge life drags you through.

What? Furcadia? http://www.furcadia.com

It's an online community where you take the role of a sort of animalish creature...and anthro really. They have felines, canines, rodents, equines, mustelines and squirrels (forgot the name for them.) You can roleplay on it, make your own little "world" thats called a "dream" and talk to other people around the world.

Because that didn't sound like a commercial or anything. ;)

Being a longtime Furcadian ; I can be pretty sure that you'll have a pretty great time on Furcadia; if you're not really into what FurN has to offer; just block it when you first install the game.

Otherwise, it'll be easy to meet great people and find a nice roleplaying guild. If you need any help; just take the Beekin's Aerie tutorial, and request help from one of the Helper Beekins.

((Sorry to bump))

No. You walk around as your own character, no pets.

Each map can have it's own games to play, ranging from Race to Battle Tag. Some of the maps are dedicated to Role Play as well. Theres a lot to do there. :)

~:> Gotta love Arrow.
