Game Informer just broke this world exclusive in their latest (May) issue of Game Informer. The game will not have Mario trying to rescue Peach from Bowser in the Mushroom Kingdom. Rather, it WILL have you shooting and slicing (with nunchuk style) random thugs to save your girlfriend from the Yakuza mafia in China. Wow. *pants and catches breath*
Honestly, I feel glad that a developer like Ubisoft (Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6) feels so enthusiastic about this and are really involved. This could be a sign of good things to come.
It's also at their website if you want to see more.

good thing of nintendo, staying away from the damn mario games
I've seen some screenshots of Red Steel and, honestly, I don't think they're in-game shots

That game looks so nice. And the way they described the action and other scenes was amazing. The way everything reacts to the movement of the controller was sweet. Also, I'm pretty sure the shots would have to be in game, because the article it has a Halflife-like system where everything happens first person mode in game, without any cutscenes.
Anyways, I'm really excited for the revolution to come out, and really want to play this game.

i would be really suprised if it was any good
action games HAVE to be rated M
and nintendo, who tries to make its console welcoming to families,
doesn't usually have rated M games except for a few exception...

The shots pretty much have tp be in-game shots. What kind of cut-scenes are there in the first person view and the player swinging a weapon or shooting?

The Revolution has 3rd-party support now, that means that it's going to have a lot more Mature-rated games. (that's the reason there weren't many on the GC, or even the 64 for that matter).
