I have just played the light that is Starfox Assault. And it was good. The campaign (although still short) is a blast! The plot has...nothing to do with Andross! Except for the first two missions, it's all new.
My Review:
Playability: Controls of the veichles are still sharp, except that both fire lasers at a much slower rate. Thankfully, on-foot missions are a great time. Even though the number of guns is quite small, all have a purpose. Strafing is your friend, and if you don't use it, you're screwed. My only complaint is that it's hard to tell how far grenedes go.
Sound: A full orchestra with beautiful gun and explosion effects.
Graphics: The enemies are quite varied, and the cutscenes offer nice detail.
Multiplayer: Even though Nintendo and Namco tried to make it balanced, there are dissadvantages to bazooka vs. arwing. But the stages are nice. Even so, playing as Slippy and Krystal are really sweet.
Final score: 8.5/10

Really, an 8.5, I think you're too nice. And, yah, I gotta start reviewing games.

You'd rate it lower? Well, it IS kinda short, but 64 was much shorter. Sly Cooper should have some stealth missions sir_michael
