So there I was, home alone with nothing to do for the entire evening, and being so bored out of my mind that I started checking out forums I used to frequent to see if they were still alive. Most have since died, but PPT is still here... although pretty much dead too. Wow. :(

Well, to be honest I can't even remember the last time I posted here. It must have been about 4 years ago since I lost the password to my Neopets account and generally started to care more about the world outside and less about the internet around the time I started university. Neopets has become very childish and unlikable to me, too. Their new pet designs... :o
But on the other hand, I had a great time on here when I was active. I got alot of help with stuff like art, Photoshop and got to boost my English writing/reading skills (another thing that Neopets is currently trying to kill by automatically switching the site language to Dutch everytime I log in, ugh). It's nice to see some familiar names from the past still slightly active over here :)

I really have nothing to add to the discussion and I don't know how to resurrect this community either, I just wanted to let y'all know that I still have some good memories about this place (even though most will not remember me, I was never very prominent). Thank you all for that <3

Thanks for joining us in the attempt to revive this place.......don't you think its sad and ironic that the most posted upon topic is about how this forum is almost dead?

I was about to remark with something along those lines.

And tomatie, I actually remember you. :) I loved your graphics.

The Neodex is broken... :( With so much info in there, that really needs to get back up... Any ETA?

Also, Tarla was an opportunity to add eyes via Twitter (and hope they become community members and join the forums too), but that event's almost over now. :(

The NeoDex will be up again within the next 24 hours if everything goes according to plan.

The site has been under heavy revamp for the past 2 months - the forum... next.

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

Wow, I decided to check PPT because of the AC and I'm in shock as to how...dead it seemed in relation to how it was when I first joined. :( I'll need to keep checking in more often I guess.

Seemed to me to be more than two months, but ah well. Glad to see some life being breathed into the forums.

Well, at least you have me back. God, I think the last time I posted here, I was fuming at Igg over whether Half-Blood Prince was worthwhile. It can't have been any later than the very beginning of 2007. But anyway, here I am, and I'll dance about this forum as though it were just being born.

But Tharkun... the Half-Blood Prince WAS worthwhile despite Internet memes' assertions to the contrary.

Internet spoiler memes, no less. :x

Yeah, I was the one on the "worthwhile" side of the fence. I was also incredibly wrong about Snape, mind you, but that's because
I didn't see any reason for Dumbledore to leave Harry groping like that (like Harry being a Horcrux, for example). I did realize he was probably a Horcrux as I did one last reread of Chamber of Secrets, specifically that bit where he recognizes the name T.M. Riddle deep down, but it was two days before release and I did not connect the dots.

I think Igg thought HBP was wholly a book about snogging. Go figure.

Oh I was a big believer in Snape all along. Anything else would have been TOO easy. Come on now, give Miss J.K. Rowling some credit.

Well... I'm back.

And honestly I think Subeta's not a bad place to get new members.

Eo! I'd forgotten your username here, but I'm reasonably sure there's no other Eo who knows about Bedstead Square.

So... welcome back to the vortex, moo ha ha.

I think that the forums are more alive now, I hope it stays this way or gets even more active.

I exist too. I used to be here all the time with Neopets, but now I have no use for Neopets. I guess I'm more of a lurker.
