Funny how that attack got more people killed and has gotten way less news coverage than London.

One of my fellow Dutchies got killed in that attack. :(

This is so pathetic. How can anyone justify killing innocent people as some sort of religious proclamation? This is horrible and I am just filled with rage because of these stupid terrorists.

It's front-page stuff here in the states. But then, we're on edge all of the time anyway.

i think it depends where you are. i would think it's obvious that an attack in london would be covered more by british press than an attack somewhere else.

I'm talking worldwide though.

edit: But it's terrorist attack season in Egypt, this stuff happens there every year around this time.

That's really nice. Please read my 2nd post, I was talking about worldwide coverage.

I suppose you check various news sources from all over the world on a daily basis. If not, whatever you just said is of no value to me. :)

I wasn't aware that my posts had to have value to you.

I was merely stating that here, in Australia, they are both getting the same amounts of coverage.

Well, it's also front page news in Canada. So thats the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia. That's a pretty sizable amount of media. Judging by the vast mediums those countries produce, one can say that news has got out.

Im sure that there are other countries reporting the attacks, aswell.

I agree with the coverage part, I heard about it today, and it happened yesterday. This is just pathetic...will these happen daily or weekly now?

I think that Stijn was making an if-then statement that you may have missed.

My guess is that Australia qualifies as "Worldwide," meaning that your post isn't valueless.

That's my guess, anyway.

It's these soughts of things that really make me mad that religion even exists.
If they terrorists were christian, they'd have never planted any of those bombs.
If US and UK governments were muslim, we'd have never slaughtered all of those Iraqis.
Ugh. It's just horrible :(
