Its not that odd, but not a lot of people have it, and its not exactly a phobia because I do it every day without hesitation, but I hate doing it and it scares the heck out of me.

Standing up after I clean a horses hooves. My back hurts and I can't stand straight for a minute, and I think sometime I just wont be able to stand straight. It scares the heck out of me, even though I know I'll be fine.

I was afraid of a stairwell in our school and the entire first floor for almost 3 yrs. Fear to the point of panic attacks. Made things very... interesting. I had a class on the 3rd floor first period and the first floor second period. I would walk outside and down a hill to get to class. I refused to go down the stairs and through the building. Go avoidance!

I have a phobia of flushing aeroplane toilets. It feels as though they are sucking you in. I have to have the door unlocked and be ready to flee when I flush. Its very strange :P

What's not to be afraid of?

Hobo's aren't scary. At least the one's I've met aren't.

Then you haven't been to NYC. (Well, I haven't met any either, but still...)

I have the phobia of heights, but it's kinda odd. If I'm on top of a skyscraper that has a very good fence around it (so people don't commit suicide) like the Empire State Building, I'm fine. If I'm on an open tall building or even on the roof of a one-story building my legs start shaking. Also, I can't stand those elevators that are outside and all they have for walls is a gate.

Actually, I'm sorta scared of elevators, especially when they go down. Those elevators at the Hilton hotel in Dallas (where I go for a journalism convention) don't help either. There's always a problem with them.

I have a selective social phobia where I'm afraid of eating in front of strangers. It has been diagnosed to be a real phobia, and if ever forced to eat in public I suffer from panic attacks or on more extreme occassions such as a stranger talking to me while I'm eating I have blackouts/ fainting.

That isn't strange at all. Alot of people are afraid of eating in front of people.

Well, the feel of it anyway. Blegh...

Polystyrine is worse.

 Someone understands the sheer fear of rubbing paper! Well, I fear cardboard but it's close enough. In art class today actually, my friend grabbed my hand and forced it to rub this cardboard frame he had around his project. :o Ugh! I flipped out and had to keep whiping my hand on my shirt to get rid of the feeling.

Eww eww eww eww ewww :(

It's not so much of a phobia, but I really hate phoning people up. My heart goes BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM. On my birthday I locked myself in the bathroom because I didn't want to phone up my aunt incase she didn't know who it was.

I have one real phobia. And it is... DUNDUNDUN... Michael Jackson. I swear. If I met that dude in a dark alley and I was alone I'd either blindingly start beating him up as hard as I could or run in whatever direction could get me somewhere away from him faster.

And no. I'm not joking around.

Oh bleh, I understand that too. I don't like phones, at all. (Though answering machines and voice mails are SOOO much worse.) Whenever the phone rings, I never want to answer it...especially if it's a number I don't recongnize on the caller ID.

As a child I was afraid of pancakes. My mom used to make pancakes in the shape of Mikey Mouse's head, because she thought my brother and I would find it cute. Only I was afraid to eat the pancake because I thought I'd be killing Mickey Mouse. So my mom made me regular pancakes, but I STILL thought I would kill Mickey Mouse if I ate a pancake.
I like pancakes now, though sometimes I feel as if I might be killing a beloved Disney character. ;)

Strangers scare me really bad! Also I hate when my mom goes into a store and leaves me alone in the car. I hide everytime she does that

Also sometimes when my mom is just gonna be gone in a few minuetes she leaves the car on while I'm in there and I always yell at her to turn the car off. I'm afraid some kidnapper will just jump into the car and well kidnap me.

Doctors. I absolutely refuse to go to the doctor. Even the dentist freaks me out a little bit. It's not irrational because I can explain it, but I really really don't want to.

A couple months ago I just couldn't explain this crazy fear I had (basically a phobia) of getting too close to something when driving. If my mom was less than a foot away from another car or a sign or something, I felt like I needed to scream and get out of the car.

Speaking of screaming, this isn't a fear or phobia or anything, but I can't. I lost my voice in December in 5th grade and I haven't been able to scream after that. Dunno why.

I'm scared of silence and men driving by me while I'm walking. Oh, and a lot of the time, having my head touched.

I have lots of weird phobias, but other people tend to remember them better than I do.

Ugh. I have a few weird phobias..
Like, I can't stand being in the bathroom with the light off. Or mostly any room with mirrors >< But, expecially the bathroom. I know that this started in elementary school, when everyone was all like, "OMGWTF THE BATHROOM IS HAUNTED."
 Nearly had panic attacks when I went in there in Elementary school.
Makes me wonder how stupid I was. xD But, it was one of those things that as little kids, we start to fear o_0
I also hate having dolls/stuffed animals looking directly towards me, close to me when I'm sleeping. o_0 I blame this on Chuckie. God, I hate those movies. Weird thing is that I've never seen it.
I have a bad phobia of needles. I don't mind if I'm at the doctors, and have to get a shot or something. But, if I see one, I can't stand to look at it. Ugh.. ::shudders::
I can't stand seeing other people's cuts/scrapes/ open bleeding wounds. >< Though, I don't mind mine at all.
