I call Pepsi Pepsi. o_o;;

The only time I call it different is when it's just thrown in with a whole bunch of other drinks (even water o_o), and I don't care what I get. Then it's pop, occasionally soda.

And I call anything else by its proper brand name, Coca-Cola is Coke, Sprite is Sprite, Fanta is Fanta, etc.

And nothing is Soda or Pop... or Soda Pop...

I call it Soda.

Down south you'll find that all carbonated beverages are referred to as "Coke" regardless of brand or flavour. So Sprite is Coke, Mountain Dew is Coke, Pepsi is Coke, etc. (I'm so not joking, I wish I was)

(also, I was so ready to open this thread and say "You say tomato, I say disgusting." because tomatoes are evil and nasty.)

Er, where "Down South" are we talking about?
I live in the South and call beverages by their proper names.

It really depends on certain areas. I'm in the south, though just barely, and when I was a kid, my family and I called everything Coke, and somehow we stopped and deviated to calling it "Soda" instead.
I know they do the Coke thing in some parts of Georgia, and other places farther south then I.

You guys are all so weird ... I call it either Pepsi or a soft drink o.O Never understood why anybody would call it "Coke." "Coke" is the stuff in the can that actually says COKE on it, not the can that says Pepsi ...
