(It could have been Miriam Vine, which definitely sounds soap-opera-like, or Miriam Clayton, which sounds perfectly natural to me although it wouldn't be out-of-place in a soap opera.)

My name would be Vanessa Hareside. It sounds really odd to me.. 
I can just imagine that show. It would have a really dodgy theme tune, something similar to the show "USA High" *shudder*

lol, I'v only lived on this street for 4 years ...
And my street name only contains the name Karen, the rest just sounds bad in english.
