Mousing: a poll

How specifically do you use the mouse? This mostly refers to the scrollwheel.
Do you use your middle finger on the scrollwheel, or your pointer finger? Do you use your middle finger on the right mouse button, or your ring finger?
I keep my middle finger on the right mouse button at all times, and switch my pointer finger back and forth between the left button and th scroll wheel.
It feels really uncomfortable to try it any other way.

Right now I do not have a scrolly wheel, I have a big ball in the middle of my mouse, which I generally use two of my fingers on.
When I have a scrolly wheel...um...I'll get back to you on that.

Never really thought of it XD. My pointer finger is on the left mouse button, middle on the scrollthing, ring finger on the right mouse button.

i have my first finger on the left button, middle finger on the scroll wheel and ring finger on the right button

Left Mouse button- index finger
Scroll Whell- Middle Finger
Right Mouse Button- Ring Finger.

I have my index finger on the left button and my ring finger on the right side. The middle finger is usually in the air (above the mouse) or if not, with the ring finger on the right button. When I press the right mouse button though, I use my ring finger, it's just weird keeping my third finger on the scroll wheel.

My left finger is on my laptop's mouse pad thing.
I'm too lazy to hook up my wireless mouse, so I haven't used it in ages.
I usually just use the space bar to scroll, but my mousepad thing has a scroll wheel-ish thing on the far right that is a ridged part of the pad thing and I move my index finger up and down to control it.

Fear not
I use my index finger for both the left button and the scroll wheel and my middle finger is always on the right button. I use my thumb for back/forward clicking with my snazzy side buttons too =)

That's how I do it as well. And I go nuts if I'm using a mouse without a scroll wheel. I just don't know what to do with the middle finger.

I use my pointer for everything. Including right mouse button.

My pointer finger is on the left mouse button, except for when I'm using the scroll thing (or typing =P). And then my middle finger is on the right mouse button.
