His name is Sam, he's a 14-year-old Chinese crested, and he's won the "World's Ugliest Dog" contest three years in a row. Is there any question why?

That looks EXACTLY like the time I left a potato in a shoebox when I was 8 and found it last year when I cleaned out the upstairs closet!

I saw that in Newsday in July.

I felt so sorry for it, but it's supposedly proud of the way it looks.

Aww. It's ugly but still...aww. I don't like seeing people say horrible things to it. It's probably got such a lovely personality.

Why, because he's hairless? I think we would be decent if he had some fur.
