School's out for summer!
Yeah, right.
---
Anywho, I start tomorrow for Math Grade 11 (I passed, but am planning to raise my mark) for two weeks. Everyday it will be 5 hours of plain, old, boring math. I'm a little scared as it's my first experience in summer school and I don't know anyone except for a friend who's in another class.
So, who else is going to/already going to summer school?

Tomorrow I start University Calculus. 5 hours, everyday, for a month. It's probably the hardest thing I'll ever do for school. What's worse is I'm at a different school for the duration of the course, so I'll have no idea where stuff is.
ahh, the price of fast tracking...
(fast tracking is attaining credits in a manner that would allow you to graduate early)

I've been going summer school for the past two weeks. This week is my last. I'm taking health class which is only a semester for next year. I'm just taking it early. By taking health for next year during the summer, I can have an extra elective next year. And no, it won't only be for a semester.. it'll be full year. ^_^ The other class that's taken after health at my high school is going to be study skills, but since it's non-credited you don't have to take it if you take health... so it's awesome.
Hmm... I was going to take PE I as well this summer... If I had taken that, I'd have three more weeks of summer school. >.<

I'm enrolled in a master of arts program, and I'm currently in week four of a five-week course in Organizational Behavior and Administration. It makes my ears bleed.
The worst part is that it's three nights a week, monday through wednesday, after I've already been at work 8 hours. This whole personal improvement thing had better be worth it *mumblegrumble*

I'm sort of, except it's more like Winter, and it's only for a week.
I'm doing an extra component of my Hospitality course, and there's only 6 of us doing it. 9:30-4:30 every day, yawn.

I went a couple of years ago to a daytime one for 2 weeks.
It sucked.
We did maths and had to run in the rain.
We went camping and got yelled at. Alot.
But I'm sure you'd have a great time

Biology 117 starts next week. I'll have two three hour labs twice a week and a test every Friday. Plus, I have a job.

Wow, that sucks.
I have a test on Friday, than every day of the week next week except for Friday. Than on Tuesday, I have my exam.
I hate summer school.

I'm doing French 11 for summer school. It started yesterday...and ends on my birthday next month. At least it's better than last year, where I spent my birthday on an exercise machine with a music stand in front of me and my notes/textbook on the stand. Hey, it did help. O_o
But the worst thing is the homework. Two of my friends decided to take French 11 at another school 45 minutes away, knowing that it'd be harder at my school. They've gotten pretty much 5 minute's worth of homework so far, while I've gotten about 4 hours. And I've been assigned an oral presentation project, while they haven't learnt a thing (other than review stuff any grade 5 student would know).
I still don't regret sticking to my school though...I'd rather not waste that expensive gas, and I'd rather learn. :P

I guess I'll be starting to take Math for grade 10 in August ...
Probably once or twice a week, but for the rest of my school life, I'm thinking.
Oh well, for the best, right?

Lucky. I want to go.
I don't even think we have a summer school program, and if we did it would only be for the people who didn't pass the grade and wanted to try to get credit so they could go on.
Not fair. =(

I actually already went to summer school in late June. I was there for three weeks doing a class called Communications Applications which is the boring class of the year that nobody wants to take.
It was a required class... but I didn't want to waste my school time on it so I took it in summer school. It's actually easier. You get less homework and classwork in general, but most of the things you do you can get done in class. And it's more fun than regular school because you get to meet new people and become long term buddies. xD
But I'd look forward to it. At least it's not for a whole whopping 180 days.

Okay, I'm 26 so my days of School are much in the past but I wanted to just say that I did go to Summer School after 7th grade and it really helped! I was amazed at how it did so... I hope it's the same for y'all.

I just got out of class tonight (points up to earlier post) and my prof told me I should consider a PhD in management.
Another 10 years of school?
