Does anybody know anything about mobile phones?

Mon Apr 04, 2005 9:11 pm

And why I can't send photo messages to my mate who's on 3; but I can to my friend who's on Vodafone.

Both have camera phones equipped with photo messaging, and both can send me pictures. But when I try and send photos to the gadge on 3 he just gets errors.

Li'l help, anybody?

Maybe he has a rubbish phone? I'm still quite happy with my old Nokia 3310 house brick. Don't know anything about these fancy schmancy video messages. :P

Perhaps it's something to do with the mobile phone company service. I know my PTT isn't being enabled >.> but hey.

:P Seeing this is in a different location, don't know much, hope that helped a lil :P

Yeah, it's enabled- he can send me photos and get them of other people.

HA. Loser. You are = lose.

I have a nokia 7600, i've taken 802 photos with it since october, and 544 videos. This makes me the best. They are all on my computer.

What can I say, if there's one thing I like doing, it's helping other people out. Rather than pointing out that I can in fact send photos to people on other networks.

Well actually I can't either, but I never want to, because I take high quality photos, and the message limit is 100kb. Thus its pointless.

I take poo quality photos. I have a 6110e. Or something. Probably can't send to 3 phones or something crap. I dunno.

However I did want to send him the picture of my worksheet titled 'Representing Atoms'. Well gangsta.

High quality photos with a Nokia, Oh, yes. Yup, high quality photos with a mobile phone, what next, high quality photos with a calculator? Aye, look what I took a picture of with my graphing calculator, ain't it awesome?

Get a digital camera :)

Oh yeah, because:
1) you make tonnes of friends walking around with a digital camera
2) If you lose it or get robbed you are down £200
3) You can't make phone calls from them
4) Do you really want to carry around a digital camera as well as a phone? I think not. The phone captures the moment! Without it, I'd have missed many priceless things! Like kids being put headfirst into bins, lights breaking, staples going into arms. All sorts!

Oh, but, Skullsplitter, friend's are inferior because:

1) They won't make friends with you when you have a camera.
2) They'll probably mention your camera to a thief.

3) Phones with camera ability, cameras with phone ability, why not?
4) I don't carry my phone around.

I have "Me being knocked over by snowball", "Me bringing down a year 8 into a ditch", "Friend sleeping on coach with shaving foam in hair" and "Going backwards down a ski slope on a bum board" on my digital camera so boo sucks to you! :P
