German Exchange

Mon Mar 14, 2005 10:39 pm

Alas, as the clock turns, so must the hands.

Yeah, enough poetry. We had double English today and I can't handle it either.

I know I left creating this thread kinda late, but in about 11 hours, I'm gonna be having a German partner, Michael Becker, arriving here. He's staying until Wednesday, next week, and we've got a full schedule planned. We're going to London to see Blood Brothers, and we're just doing other general stuff, tours round the town etc.

Wish me luck, and I would say advice, but I think it's a bit late for that. Perhaps advice for when I go out to Germany in July :)

Cheers and Goodbye for a bit,

~ Matt

Okay, see you later, Matt! Know you'll be missed by xjox and I. With you gone we won't have anyone to pick on! :P You'll probably be too busy to get on. :P

Good luck and have loads of fun!

And I'd give you advice, but I've never been to Germany... or anywhere outside the U.S. for that matter. ;)

oh how fun :), have a good time the both of you. I wish I would have done an exchange student program, would have been fun to spend a few weeks in an other country with a different family.

Wow, a foreign exchange program. That sounds like so much fun! I wish you the best of luck for fun, adventure and friendship.
Have you two met each other before? Sorry, I just don't really know how foregin exchange programs work, our school has never had one.

Good Luck, I'm sure that you're going to have a blast. My friend is doing a similar thing, except it's a French exchange program and a french girl will be coming here for a month and then she'll be going there for a month. Apparently it's an amazing expereince, so have fun.

Hey, good luck man. Enjoy your time away from the forums. As you will be flooded when you get back. Blood Brothers, eh? Why am I not surprised :P Anyway, have a good time.

*twiiiitch* Yeah, this topic hurts like mad, but oh well.

I've got a French exchange student coming in June/July-ish, which should be fun. You'll have to tell me what it's like.

And have fun when you go to Germany. I've got a few friends in the year level above me, who told me that it was one of the best experiences of their lives. Make the most of it :)
