Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I kind of scared. I mean, lots of people think because the pope is sick, the weather is changing all over the world, there was a tsunami, and other things happening that is is like the end of the world or something.
It is really really sad that a country has to work with neopets to create a site to teach children what to do in cause of a disaster. Did you see that? I played the game without sending a score and it almost makes me want to cry. Kids shouldn't have to worry about what to do in case of this or that. I worried some as a kid about what to do if there was a tornado. Later I worried about what to do if there was a nuclear attack, because I had seen the news one day and they were talking about it. But mostly as a kid I didn't have to worry as much as kids do now. It is so sad what kids have to deal with at an early age these days.
Do these people know something we don't? I mean, I keep seeing all over all kinds of websites I go to that everyone is feeling like something big is going to happen and soon. I read on one site that there is a man who tried to get on the BBC and tell everyone that a meteor is going to hit the earth soon. And he wasn't a nutter either, but a leading scientist who knows about this stuff. And other scientists are like "the earth can't exist in the next twenty years, it will be past the state of no return. Our ozone layer is decreasing, and our weather patterns are changing. Unless we take drastic measures, it will be too late. " or something like that. It is scare=y. I read on another site that some scientists told Bush that he would have to really really really work on getting a humongous military built because in the next few years the United States is going to be like the only place on earth that one can live and survive and that everyone is going to try to come here by force out of desperation to survive! I also read that he might even draft girls into the military. What can a young girl do to fight who has never been properly trained? She'll just get herself raped or killed or both! I hope it doesn't ever get that bad. But it will take the whole world working together to end this. If all the countries would work together to end pollution we might could reverse this, but some people don't care and unfortunately what they are doing effects the world and not just there country.
Unfortunately, I believe all this has to come to pass, it is destined to get worse and worse before it gets better. I just wish it wasn't all starting this fast.

Honestly, I think a lot of that is false. The world isn't going to end.
Anyways, I know where you're coming from on the issue of kids worrying about all of this.

Depending on your beliefs, the pope being sick changes nothing. I saw him speak in Rome three years ago this March, quite frankly, no one in my class who saw him speak then, thought that he would live through the winter. He's been sick for a very long time.
*shrugs*

Uh. Let's not get paranoid and exaggeratory here. I know several women who serve, in some form or another. They've never been raped and last I checked, not dead. They're adults, not children. A draft would never try to get young girls, they need adults.
I think you should take a breath and stop worrying. The world is changing environmentally and this is why things like the tsunami are coming to pass.

I hope the world ends. Really hard. And painfully.

I dont actually know how old you are, but if you believe some random site, you can't be very old.
I can't even be bothered to list all the things that are wrong with that...
So, for your own peace of mind, try to understand that christianity might actually be wrong, and Allah is the actual god, so the pope being sick is nothing to worry about.
Unless Allah is actually making the pope sick in preparation for smiting us all, in which case you can look forward to an
incredibly painful death.
Or just don't believe what you read on the internet.

Personally I think the Pope is just a man like any other man. I'm not Catholic, but I just used that as an example.
I don't want to believe everything I read, it is mostly stories on Yahoo that I read, and they have simulations, like actual pictures of the earth and the changes that are taking place. Like a before picture and a present picture and one that shows what could happen in the next few years. So the storys would be based on scientific data that they could show. That is what scares me.

Christianity believes in the same God as Muslims aka Allah so they don't have anything to worry about.
However, the above will actually apply if Islam is the true religion and that's another debate which shouldn't occur.
And I take it that you're Muslim Skull?

My science textbook says the world ran out of tin and oil 15 years ago (published in 80s). Thats how trusty those scientists are.

LOL..we should all be dead now.
Well I hope that everyone goes to cleaner burning fuels, solor power, or something else anyway. It couldn't hurt.

I have to admit stuff like this has worried me too. Ecspecially the weather. That kinda started this spring after I watched The Day after Tommorow. But it could just be a hard weather year or something
And about the pope... he's really old and they say he's gonna be okay anyways so that doesn't worry me.
There had to be another Tsunami sooner or later. It just happened now.
I don't really know what to think about all this. i just got over my huge fear of the world ending a few years ago. After I realized it was stupid to believe all those stupid tabloids that said stuff like that. The weather isn't really all that bad here but it's still what worries me most.

Shouldn't really believe alot of what the media tells you. Its very trickey to know what is true and what isnt. If its our time to go then its our time, I know I dont wanna spend my last few years on earth worrying about dying.
The world is just shifting at the moment, thats what it does. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Well, not to be a downer, but looking at it in a religious way or not, this world is going way down anyway.
Basically, if you're religious it could happen any day, even when we're still here. Looking at it more scientifically we will probably have been dead quite a while ourselves before it's all over.
Still, there is no turning back. We can only blame ourselves for starting the avalanche which will bring this planet to its end sooner or later.
And yes, that is what I sincerely believe.
