Petpet Cannonball Tips

Press and hold the spacebar

Get the first petpet in and press spacebar for the rest of the game. It will say game over when you get around 700 – 800 points, a great way to earn some extra neopoints! – mitchell

Go for the petpets that score more

The heavier petpets, like the pirate Snowbunny and the Angelpuss score more points than the lighter petpets, the Buzzer and the Slorg. So when you get a Slorg or Buzzer, miss with those, and when you get a heavy petpet shoot that in. Here’s all the petpets’ weights:

Buzzer: 0.8kg (10points)
Slorg: 0.9kg (11 points)

Turmaculus Explained

What is the Turmaculus? “Legends speak of a petpet a who had a gigantic appetite. As he ate, he grew, and as he grew, he ate… until one day this colossal petpet could not move any more. The Turmaculus can be found in the land of Meridell, sleeping nearly 24 hours a day. If you can wake him up, chances are he may be able to help you with an item, or a healing spell… just don’t catch him in a bad mood (we weren’t kidding about his appetite!)”

In all regards, the Turmaculus is the meridell equivalent of Snow Valley’s Snowager. The difference? The snowager wakes up at certain times whilst the times in which the Turmaculus wakes up is randomized on a daily basis. However, the prizes and rewards the Turmaculus gives out to the user are considerably higher valued than what can be obtained through the Snowager.

How do know what type of pets will ask for things

When the petpets begin to stick in a group (this is usually around 1,700 points although it varies depending on what type of computer you have) it is always the petpets on the outside who begin asking for things. – Disauria

Pick up the mop without holding down the mouse button

You can pick up the mop and actually hold it without holding down the mouse button.

First grab the mop using left click and hold it. Then right click as you’re holding down left click. A menu should pop up. Then let go of left click and left click on the mop again. You should be able to hold it.

This is useful in the later stages when all you’re doing is cleaning up. Just place the mop on one of the spill spots, relax and let the game rake in points for ya. Just keep the volume up though so you can hear any demanding petpets. – Thang

A Tour of Some of Neopets’ Worlds Part 2

The Haunted Woods is a perpetual Halloween-type forest. Here lies the Brain Tree, who demands knowledge of when people died. It’s completely random and can’t be unlocked if you just type in numbers. Instead, you have to go to the other boogie-man of the Haunted Woods, the Esophager.

He demands spooky food in exchange for answers. It used to be you could only get the foods from Edna’s quest (who asks for random items to complete her spells), but now there is a food store that sells them. Of course, the Brain Tree’s quests are rarely worth the price you’ll pay. Stuck in the middle of the Haunted Woods, there is the castle of Eliv Thade (an “anagram” for Evil Death), where you must unjumble letters to produce the word needed to move around his castle.
