I’m not sure if it’s just me or not but I think that this board has somewhat destroyed itself. If you’ve never been on the board or don’t recall a time where it was a thriving source for fun conversations and feuds then I will describe it for you. I remember a time where it was filled with people. Not scammers and people posting spam chain letters but actual people who had actual opinions that actually mattered. There were basically two sides of the whole feud, Anti Sloths and Minions. Sure you may still find chats about these every now and again but they’re just the same meaning chatter. Back in the day we created guilds for these affairs and would do battle. It was great because you’d be so happy that you rose and army and defeated the minions of sloth one day and the next you found out every person in your so called army was a spy. Of course little did those spies know that you knew who was a spy and who wasn’t, because you had spied of your own spying on them. But it turned out in the end that your spies were actually there spies and their spies…..Ok you know what I’m just going to end that there cause I have know idea where I left off or what the point of it was. Anyways my point is now a ton of undeserving people are on that board and it used to be fun… at least I thought so

Memoirs of a Neopian by Kimmie
I started playing Neopets about three years ago, according to my look up its been 34 months. Somehow over the years Ive come to own a significant, albeit humble amount of neopoints, painted pets, and so on. Admittedly Im not a neomillionare by any stretch of the imagination, and I dont intend to me at least not now. Maybe Im getting ahead of myself, Ill take you back to the beginning.
Once upon a time I was a newbie. I knew nothing of Neopets, I was desperate for neopoints, and I would do anything to get them. I played the games that you play when youre desperate and in need of neopoints, games like Potato Counter and Kacheek Seek. One day, while perusing the newbie boards, I came upon the answer to all my problems, yes, the infamous chain letters. So, I diligently copied it and pasted it into 10 boards, and when I went to Faerieland to claim my fortune, I didnt get it. What I did it was about ten angry emails from seasoned players, and I got reported, all in a days work.

Going For What You Want by Kayla
I have been on Neopets for five years and have had many accounts hacked into and things like that. Neopets has frozen my accounts and little things like that. It is tough to get through it all, really you just have to brush it off your shoulders and make a new account. Make it the best there is if you really want to show how much you love and are mad at Neopets, if that makes any sense. For the people out there with goals on Neopets, fulfill them. Don’t take like five years to do it. Go on every day and earn over 10,000 neopoints a day! It is really easy if you set your mind to it. Neopets is fun, and it should be REALLY fun, but when the newbies or NOOBS come in, it is still fun because they are just trying to figure out WHAT to do.

The Art of the Deal – Selling Your Stuff in Neopia by DragonDoodies
Neopia has three ways in which you can sell your items. You can sell items for 1-99,999 NP in your shop. You can trade items in the Trading Post for any price. You can put your items up for auction. Which is best? Well it all depends on what the item is, and what you know about it.
For any beginning player, I absolutely recommend against using the auctions. Usually, you get ripped off. The auction is so packed with junk right now, that your item will unlikely get the coverage it needs to get the price it deserves. (At any given time, there are upwards of 200 items pet minute being posted to the auctions.)
