carrot is an inside joke within Neopets, as it's a favorite vegetable for Adam Powell, one of the lead creators of the website. There are many carrot related items, including several weapons, and a Chia can be coloured carrot as well. Most notable of course is on Neopets birthday, when all neopets are turned into carrot Chia.
