Altador Water Distribution Plant

Repairing the plant is beyond the skills of these engineers.

The Altador Water Distribution Plant is responsible for correctly routing Altador's water supply through its aqueducts around the city, and ensuring Old Follies Farm gets correctly irrigated. It was designed by a mad wizard. It is located in one of the towers around the city, and was released on 13 May 2006.

Incorrectly routing the water can be disastrous.

During the Altador Plot, the water distribution plant malfunctions and its engineers are unable to fix it. The player must manipulate eight switches and wheels in different rooms of the plant until the water is correctly routed - incorrect combinations can flood the entire city. Once the system is finally fixed, the spectral Minitheus finally considers the player worthy of taking Jerdana's necklace and receiving the clue for her constellation.

Trivia

• The water distribution puzzle was referenced in the Cyodrake's Gaze plot, where the player remembered flooding a city when trying to help.
