Krawk Island

Krawk Island is a small island off the southern coast of Mystery Island, discovered on September 5, 2001 but formerly believed to be uninhabited. It has recently prospered as a haven for pirates (although whether for some tactical advantage or use in a trade route has not yet been determined). Krawk Island is notable for its use of Dubloons as its primary currency, rather than the much more widely accepted Neopoints.

Krawk Island, about 80 miles south of the larger Mystery Island, was named because of its strange inhabitants, the Krawks. Aside from these strange lizard-like creatures, Krawk was a desolate rock, until about a year ago when a gang of pirates on the run from the law landed and settled. Since then it has become very popular with all manner of undesirable citizens...

Having come in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and fourth, Krawk Island has been all over the finals and is one of the best teams in the league. With a nearly unstoppable offense, even the best goaltenders quiver when they see this team.
Pirate Colour

Pirate is one is is one of the many colours that users can paint their Neopets and Petpets. Pirate pets have bluish-grey skin/fur and are dressed in pirate clothing. The Pirate colour for Neopets was released May 28, 2002, and the Pirate colour for Petpets was released on January 15, 2004.
Climate
In the summer, the weather is usually very hot, at around 35 degrees, with very little rain, but it is usually very wet in the late fall and winter with lots of rain and sometimes snow.
