Random Contest

Every week or so Neopets runs a Random Contest. Users are asked to do different things from competition to competition, and no contest will be similar to the previos one. Winners receive an avatar, a special item and a Neopoints prize.

Contest 1 - 10
Neopets Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza
|
Users sent in pictures of their Neopets themed pumkin carvings.
1st Place
Three first place winners received 10,000 NP, a special avatar, a trophy, a spooky food item, and The Halloween themed sidebar.
2nd Place
25 people won 5,000 NP, a spooky food, a special avatar and the Halloween themed side bar.
3rd Place
50 winners received 2,000 NP, a spooky food, a special avatar and the Halloween themed side bar.
Neopets Recipe Spectacular

Users were asked to make a real recipe of a Neopets food item on the website, with full cooking instructions and an image of the finished product.
1st Place
There were 36 first prize winners. Each of these winners received 10,000 NP, a special avatar a gourmet food, and their recipe on display for all users.
2nd Place
12 second place winners received 5,000 NP and a special avatar.
3rd Place
100 runner ups recieved the avatar and 2,000 NP.

A Tune for Hannah

Users were asked to create answering machine messages of Dr. Sloth.

Finger Puppet Paradise

Users were required to make Petpet finger puppets! For extra credit, users could add a background and show their finger puppet in action in the photo. A list of materials you used to make the finger puppet and the steps taken were also required. Puppets were judged on quality, likeness to the original Petpet, creativity, and humour.

Neopet Pasttime Portrait

Users were asked to draw their Neopet doing their favourite hobby. Image were disqualified if the neopet in the image was not one of the pets on the account the image it was submitted on. Image were to be 400x400 when it is submitted, and were judged on creativity, artistic ability, and amusement value.

Bird Feeder Frenzy

Watch out, the birds are starting to get VERY hungry. This is why our contest this week if for you to create bird feeders. Bird feeders were to be Neopets themed, and a list of all items that you used to create it and a description of how it was made was to be included. Were judged on quality, usefulness, creativity, and humour.
