What the Heart of the Mountain did
When Hannah had the necklace, Armin and Kanrik kept the enemies away from Hannah so she could get to the Heart of the Mountain. She united the necklace and the Heart of the Mountain and the Bringer of Night froze and Armin hit him with his Slingshot and the Bringer of Night was defeated.
