Mystic Mushroom is an item type created on (need date) and retired on (need date). Originally sold at the The Apothecary, Mystic Mushrooms had many different properties, and some had the ability to raise the states stats of a Neopet. This may be the very reason the items were retired. Mystic Mushrooms can still be found on the website, but they continue to raise in price as more disappear. There are some Mystic Mushroom which are given out as rewards, such as the Purple Spotted Shroom, Toxic Shroom and Dark Shroom from complete Jhudora's quests.
