Archives For battledome

This is one of the most useful solution for people like me who practically live in the battledome and aren’t lucky enough to have their pets fully healed at the healing springs every time.

Strangely enough this tip is so obvious I’m surprised no one ever noticed it before. It’s simple, fast, and has no strings attached.

1. First your pet must have the ability ‘Magic Berries’. You can get this useful move by giving your pet enough Earth Faeries. (It must be over level 6 or the faerie will just fly away.)

2. Now bring your pet to the healing springs. Even if the water faerie only raises your pets health a little bit this will still work.

Lesson 6: Grenades

Grenades is a term that I use for any once per battle weapon. These weaons are just what they say, items that may only used once per battle. Some of these items when used will vanish forever. Weapons in this family include Snowballs, Snowflakes, Exploding Pizza Pasty, and Clockwork Grundos to name but a few. Another class of these items are persistent, that is they may only be used once per battle, but you get them back when the battle is over. Weapons in this family include Mud Mixture, Illusens Earth Potion, Honey Potion, and Battle Potato to name only a few.

First, purchase unlimited multi-use weapons. I would recommend two scarab rings but if you are poor two lost desert daggers will do as well. In fact, any weapon, even super cheap ones (as long as they are unlimited use, meaning they won’t disappear) will work, it’ll just take slightly longer.

Then, enter a fight with Punchbag Bob and select your 2 weapons and choose fierce attack. Do not press go yet.

Then, paste javascript: function one_submit() { return true } into your address bar. Press enter once and nothing will happen, then click and hold the go! button. Start to press enter rapidly or hold the button down, depending on your keyboard speed.

Lesson 9: Rarity and Battledome Gear Prices

There are some that say the damage from a weapon like the Cake Bomb (a Smuggler’s Cove item, less than 100 in existence, damage 11 to 15 is worth its high price tag of anywhere from 3 million to the sky is the limit. Then there are those that say why spend those kind of neos on that kind of weapon when you can get a Battle Potato for around 800,000 neopoints, it does 8 to 14 damage, just slightly less than the Cake Bomb at a fraction of the price, and as a game giveaway that you can’t buy in a store, it’s just as rare and unusual. The difference in damage between the two is barely noticeable.

Episode 29 of The PPT Show unites Kym Huynh, Evan and Drake (or his alter ego Demon) as the second group on this week’s host-packed recording session. (We had so many hosts that we had to split the recording up into two teams.) With topics on discussion such as whether people actually notice what is on the Neopets Notice Board, whether or not the battledome is essentially to Neopets or biased towards certain Neopians, unreleased items that are M.I.A. (missing in action), Neopets’ competitors, and whether or not Neopets is racist, tune in for an exciting episode of The PPT Show.
