Introduction

Hello there once again! Here’s yet another helpful game guide to Neopet’s game Snowball Fight. I hope this turns out to be very helpful to those who need it.

Introduction/Controls and Gameplay Basics

Alright. Basically, you are a blue Kogura that has decided to throw wet, cold snowballs at innocent passerbys. What fun! The only controls in this game is your mouse. Move your mouse to move your position, and click to throw a snowball.

Easy enough? You are able to throw a certain amount of snowballs. You start out with 50 snowballs (five snowball icons represents ten a piece) and each time you throw a snowball, the icons get smaller. When you run out, GAME OVER! The higher you click on the screen, the higher you throw the snowballs. If you click closer down towards the wall your behind, you’ll throw them lower.

Getting Points

Here comes the tricky part: When do you throw a snowball at someone? First off, you must ONLY hit Neopets or Petpets.

You CANNOT hit faeries! (The only two faeries shown are Illusen and the Soup Kitchen faerie.) If you hit one of the faeries, they take away one of your snowball icons (they take away 10 snowballs).

  • Neopets: Worth 10 points each when hit in the face. If you hit them on the side, you will only get 5 points.
  • Petpets: Worth 20 points each when hit in the face. If you hit them on the side, you will only get about 10 points.
  • Faeries: DON’T HIT THEM! -10 snowballs.
  • Polarchuck: +10 snowballs.

Try to your best ability not to hit the faeries!

The only way you can get more snowballs is hitting a Polarchuck that is falling from the sky on a parachute. (Why? I have no idea.) They’re pretty small though so they are a bit hard to hit but they replenish one snowball icon for each one you hit (you get 10 snowballs).

Helpful Hints

  • As each level goes by, your snowballs might start to curve to the left or right. Pay attention to the falling snow. The wind will shift them to fall from left to right, or right to left. This way you will know which way the wind is blowing and how you can position yourself to hit your targets even if it is curved. If it’s falling straight down, there’s no wind and you will throw straight.
  • The Faeries will try to pop up right behind a Neopet or petpet, especially in later levels. When one pops up, give it a few seconds to move around before you hit it to ensure a faerie is not in the line of fire.
  • Wait to try hitting Polarchucks when you have only one or two snowball icons left. Also try to get them when they’re up high; they’re harder to get lower to the ground.
