What’s the Deal With Guilds by Suzii

Guilds, we’ve all been in one. But what do they really do? Sure they help you meet new people, and some offer amazing features such as:

-Adoption centers (adopt a painted pet!)
-1 np auctions (only for members!)
– Guild Malls (everything you need!)

Those are great ideas. But some aren’t going to happen. I mean, hello! Who is going to give up a painted pet? I mean, you work hard to get all this np then buy a paintbrush and paint your pet… just to give it to someone else? And there’s always a catch.

“You need to be a member for 6 months”
“You have to be an ‘active member’ ”

“You need to donate to the shop” etc.

Some are just scams waiting to happen. Like “Give me your password and I’ll transfer the pet to your account”. Seriously. If your going to join a guild for the perks, be sure that your not getting ripped off.

There are other guilds that are just as fun without the “1,000,000 np give-aways”.

Like an rp guild – you meet people, don’t have to give in personal info, and you can even be someone else.
A billionaire’s guild – most are rip-offs but some are just helpful sites that help you become a ‘Neopets billionaire’.

So, when you pick a guild, don’t pick it for the options they say they can give- but pick it because you trust the people in it, you feel safe when your in it, and it has something to do with what you enjoy or a goal you want to accomplish.

Moral: Don’t just pick any guild. Pick a special guild. – Suzii
