Jeff’s Tigerfruit Smoothie at Jamba Juice Experience by super_neo100

Well, I was determined to buy a Tigerfruit smoothie, so on the way home after school today, I rode my bike to Jamba Juice. After parking my bike, I walked into the store. When it was my turn at the cashier, I asked “Is there a Tigerfruit smoothie?”. After a slight pause, she said, “Uhh… yes, the Neopets one eh? It only comes in the 16 oz. (their smallest) size.” “That’s ok, I’ll try it,” I replied. While she entered my order in, she was chuckling a little bit. Well, I would have thought it funny too, a high school Sophomore asking for the Neopets Tigerfruit smoothie. But I was set out to have one; I had the guts to go through with it.

I paid my $3-something and she handed me the button/badge and the packet of crystals (see attached pictures). no stickers though. she gave me my change, and explained that I was supposed to add the crystals and stir them into my smoothie. As she said this, she pointed at a small side-stand in the store where there were spoons. That part was a little awkward, because I think the crystal-stirring part is a little more childish, and I hadn’t planned on using the crystals anyway. I walked around waiting, and soon, they gave me my smoothie. I drank it outside and then went home.

As for the smoothie itself, I’m not sure what juice base and yogurt was added (as you may know, pretty much all their juices include some kind of juice and yogurt). However, from tasting and observing the fruit chunks leftover, I’d say that the smoothie contained bananas, strawberries, and possibly raspberries. The smoothie itself was a bit more watery than the other kinds I’ve had, but that may have been due to adding too much juice in the beginning. The smoothie was reddish-pinkish in color.

OK, well, I hope you enjoyed hearing about my Tigerfruit experience. I certainly feel like I have achieved something, and I’m quite satisfied that I actually went through with it. Good luck to everyone else in trying this smoothie before it’s gone. – by super_neo100
