The Werhond is a species of Petpet that was first seen in the Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing video game. The Werhond was released as an item on the Neopets website on October 25, 2009. Werhonds are aggressive Petpets that are known for their powerful bite. Other Petpets tend to keep their distance from them.
