The Neopets Team (TNT for short) are the official employees of Neopets Inc. who work on the website. Their official user account theneopetsteam is the only account in which the TNT will official contact users through NeoMail, a fact strengthened all the more with the exploding TNT avatar (TNT shares the same abbreviation is Trinitrotoluene), used only by the The Neopets Team. They seem to have a strange obsession with asparagus.
User account types
Sometimes a member of TNT has their own user account, and if they choose can signify they are a member of TNT by a tag on the bottom of their User Lookup. There are also other accounts which are used for special purposes on Neopets. The collected ones are...
- Monitor - The most basic kind of account. Monitors watch over the interactions between users on the site. Sometimes artists, writers and other employees are given this account type, often confusing regular users. Some monitors are responsible for one country only. These are listed as "Non-US-Monitors" at the end of this article.
- Auction - This type of account creates special auctions in the Auction House for regular users to bid on. The items involved usually are very rare.
- Lawyer - Account given to Lawyerbot, the lawyer for Neopets. Used by Laywerbot to find spammers, scammers, and other illegal activities on Neopets.
- Programmer - Programmers create games and plots around the site.
Plot summaries
Sacrificers

The Neopets Team journeyed to the newly-discovered Mystery Island where they became part of an elimination-survival game, with each week a member being sacrificed to Mumbo Pango, a god of the native Coconut People, until only one remained - Donna.
Ski Lodge Murder Mystery
- Main article: Ski Lodge Murder Mystery
The Neopets Team, on holiday in Terror Mountain, were trapped in the old Ski Lodge by a freak snowstorm. Unable to leave the mansion, one by one the staff members were picked off by a mysterious murderer in their midst until only the murderer and one last staff member survived: Maverick and Beader respectively. Before Maverick could come after Beader, she trapped him in a cage. Before the police could arrest him, he exploded, for he was a robotic replica made by a mysterious villain, possibly Dr Sloth.
Many of the members of the team were "killed off" during the Neopets Staff Sacrificers and Ski Lodge Murder Mystery.

Neocam

The Neocam gaves users a look into The Neopets Team's headquarters, where they worked to keep Neopets running. The webcam was on 24/7, capturing a new picture every minute. Some images were saved for future enjoyment. Sadly, the Neocam has broken and is not used any more.
Trivia
- On January 14, 2000, The Neopets Team turned into Pokémon
- On January 18, 2000, an admin power was added to the website, which allowed The Neopets Team to give items to users.
- One of the test accounts, paganmachine, is the Portuguese NeoBoard moderator.
