The Lost City of Geraptiku

On the northern shores of Mystery Island lay the ruins of the Lost City of Geraptiku. Recently discovered by some very curious Neopian archeologists, Geraptiku is an interesting place to explore... if you're brave enough to venture inside.

Geraptiku is a long-abandoned city, now gradually being reclaimed by the jungle. Mystery Island locals are fearful of it and even superstitious about mentioning its name. It is believed the civilization of Geraptiku fell due to its peoples' excessive pride and claims of greatness, struck down one night by the spirits they angered.

To this day the pyramid of the Deserted Tomb stands in the ruins of the city, though. At the top of the Tomb is a stone circle which is referred to as kalahnto. Apart from the Tomb, there is a collection of dilapidated huts, colouring pages and a Geraptiku Petpet shop without a shopkeeper. Geraptiku is also the location of the game Goparokko, after a tiki-masked Yurble who believes he is a witch-doctor discovered that putting coloured blocks together made them disappear.

"Geraptiku" is pronounced "gurr-APP-tih-kuu".
