Neopets 2.0 is a redesign of Neopets which took place on April 27, 2007. With it comes the ability to customise your own pets, more new basic site themes and several other features.

Trivia
- The release of Neopets 2.0 was kept secret until the release, and was only hinted upon by a giant Meepit which replaced all of the news from the previous day.
