Lisha's older brother, Jeran is widely considered the greatest knight in the kingdom of Meridell. He appeared in the past of Meridell while playing hide and seek with his younger sister. When his sister arrived in the past years later during Champions of Meridell, he had grown into a full adult. After the first war between Darigan and Meridell, Jeran continued to serve King Skarl and lived in peace with his long lost sister.

Battle for Meridell

In Battle for Meridell, Jeran was sent to the front lines when Lord Kass attacked, and was quickly overrun when King Skarl didn't supply him with reinforcments. When he returned to the castle, he organized an aerial assault against Kass directly. Upon Darigan citedal, Jeran was thrown off the cliff when he defended Morris and Count Boris from Kass, who secretly followed him on the attack. He nearly fell to his death, but he was saved by Psellia and brought back to Meridell Castle.
Neopets: The Darkest Faerie

Despite the fact that almost all of the events in Neopets: The Darkest Faerie took place within Meridell, a blue Lupe that could look like an older Jeran only briefly appears once in a small crowd of knights during a cutscene in which Tor is knighted. Two of the more pointed references to him in-game are during a cutscene, where Tormund wore a mask and pretended to be him while he played with his sister and her friends, and again near the end of the Knight's Crypt section. Before the player enters the room with the Undead Draik boss fight and Fyora's Rod, there is a nondescript statue of a Lupe holding an 'Ancient Knight's Sword', which is actually Jeran's sword, that Tormund walks over to and picks up after the statue explodes in a short cutscene.

- A Neopedia released on April 28, 2006, claimed he was 18 years old. Also, it was claimed on the Neopets TCG card Jeran's Armour that King Skarl gave him his armour on his 18th birthday. Because Jeran has always been seen in this armour, it's unknown what his current age is.
- In the Neopets TCG, Jeran is affiliated with the elements of Earth and Light.
