'''Apple Bobbing''' is a stand in the [[Haunted Woods]] where players [[wikipedia:apple bobbing|bob for apples]]. It is operated by [[Vanderbart Biggsby]]. While the stand was located in the [[Haunted Faire]], players could bob for apples [[daily|once a day]] while the faire was in the Haunted Woods (12 October - 2 November) for a chance to win a prize or a short or long [[quest]]. After the faire closed, it was relocated to [[Neovia]] and now only gives out items [[daily|once per day]]. It is possible to not win anything at all from the stand, and since the the faire closed, it is possible to get [[disease|blurred vision]] from the stand.  
The first '''Haunted Faire''' took place between October 12, 2010 and November 2, 2010.  This event introduced [[Vanderbart Biggsby]] and his [[Apple Bobbing|apple bobbing]] stand.  During this event, users could [[wikipedia:apple bobbing|bob for apples]] at Bart's stand once every day. Each time a user bobbed for apples, Bart would either give them an single [[item]], task them with a lengthy [[quest]], or reveal a [[Trick-or-treating|trick-or-treat spot]] for them to find.


==Trick or treating==
After the 2010 Haunted Faire ended, Bart's apple bobbing stand was revamped into a [[daily]] and moved to [[Neovia]]. This new incarnation of apple bobbing still gives out items, but it no longer gives out quests or trick-or-treat spots.
The player could have been invited to go trick or treating by Bart. This was a single step quest which involved visiting one other [[Neopia]]n location so as to receive a goodie bag prize. These quests were:

==Quests==
On a few specific days, bobbing for apples at Bart's stand would prompt Bart to give the user a quest. Each of these quests had to be completed on the day that it was given.  To complete a quest, the user had to travel to several locations in a certain order.  There were four quests in total:

The first Haunted Faire took place between October 12, 2010 and November 2, 2010. This event introduced Vanderbart Biggsby and his apple bobbing stand. During this event, users could bob for apples at Bart's stand once every day. Each time a user bobbed for apples, Bart would either give them an single item, task them with a lengthy quest, or reveal a trick-or-treat spot for them to find.

After the 2010 Haunted Faire ended, Bart's apple bobbing stand was revamped into a daily and moved to Neovia. This new incarnation of apple bobbing still gives out items, but it no longer gives out quests or trick-or-treat spots.

Item Prizes[edit]

Each time a user bobbed for apples during the 2010 Haunted Faire, they had a chance of receiving a single, randomly-selected item from the below list:


Quests[edit]

On a few specific days, bobbing for apples at Bart's stand would prompt Bart to give the user a quest. Each of these quests had to be completed on the day that it was given. To complete a quest, the user had to travel to several locations in a certain order. There were four quests in total:
