The Giant Omelette

In Tyrannia, there is a giant egg which has provided omelettes for all of Neopia's inhabitants since its appearance on March 28, 2001. Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, a dinosaur of gigantic proportions laid this massive egg. The egg split open, and started to bake in the sun. Ever since then, a giant omelette has been cooking on the Tyrannian Plateau.

The Giant Omelette is a place where users can get free food on a daily basis. Everyday, each user is allowed to take one piece of omelette. There is a growing variety of omelette types, and it is random which one the user gets. If the Giant Omelette is eaten, Sabre-X, who is the Giant Omelette's keeper, will appear and say so. One can then try again at a later time. Sabre-X also is the one who stops users that try to get a second piece of omelette, stating that you can only have one piece a day.

Since January 20, 2003, there is a Giant Jelly in Jelly World that works exactly like the Giant Omelette.

Omelette pieces

A piece of omelette can be eaten three times. The first bite a Neopet takes leaves 2/3 of the omelette. A second bite leaves the user with 1/3 of the omelette. After the third bite, the omelette is gone.

• Rumour has it that when the Giant Omelette has been eaten, a limited number of Tonus are released for creation.
• Refreshing at the Giant Omelette can get users the Giant Hungry Malevolent Chomby as a Battledome character.
• The Cheese Omelette and the disease-causing Rotten Omelette look very similar.
