The Deserted Tomb is an ancient monument located in the Lost City of Geraptiku on Mystery Island. Users may try once a day to pillage the tomb for the treasure and relics it holds, but must be wary of the numerous traps that line the structure.
The Tomb
The Deserted Tomb is perhaps the only relic of the former Geraptiku which isn't crumbling and passing into legend. At the top of the pyramid is a stone circle, which is called by the Mystery Island natives kalahnto, which loosely translates into the word "judgement".
Possible Results
From the main Deserted Tomb page, the user must click the button reading Open the stone door to the Deserted Tomb..., then, after the door raises halfway up its frame, Continue on, at the risk of never returning. There's no turning back.. After this, the door will "unexpected[ly]" slam shut behind the user, and one will receive one of five messages, such as:
After being lost in the tomb for two days (living off fungus and rain water of course), you stumble across a room you haven't seen before. Could this be the location of the treasure?
*RAWR* ME HUNGRY!
That's definitely no treasure. A giant monster leaps out from the darkness and begins chasing you, all the while thinking about the best way to cook you for dinner. You should probably continue running.
You suddenly remember where the exit is and escape back to Geraptiku.

It's been two days. You don't quite know how, but you've managed to elude many of the traps mysteriously strewn around this tomb. Maybe it's a good thing you're so clumsy.
You happen upon a flight of stairs that leads down into the darkness. It seems to go on forever, but you finally reach the very bottom and enter the dimly lit room you find there.
FIDDLESTICKS!
You yell out in disappointment. This room is the treasure chamber you've been looking for but you discover that someone has gotten to the treasure before you. You could devote the rest of your life to finding this person and writing them a stern letter, but you have to get out of here first.
The other messages are to the effect of:
- Arrows fly out of the walls and damage your active pet.
- A Petpet scares you, then runs away. It was standing on a box that contained a cheap item such as a Potgatkerchi Plushie.
- You find the treasure, receive a few thousand Neopoints, and one or two items, such as Geraptiku Bone Chair, Geraptiku Recipes, or an Obsidian Dagger.
There is also an avatar users can win from visiting, but whether or not you receive it is random.
