Calciferus is the largest and strongest Rock Beast ever seen, and the only one that has ever been given a name. He, along with its breatheren, appeared in Neopets Puzzle Adventure.

Under the orders of Tura-Kepek, he was dispatched to break down the walls of Sakhmet City. When this didn't work, the Fire Faerie, Eithne was sent to destroy Calciferus and take credit for it, allowing her access to the city. Calciferus was considerably weakened by a magical amulet that lay hidden in the desert.
