A Bottled Fire Faerie
A Bottled Faerie is a faerie that has been captured by Balthazar the bounty hunter and imprisoned in a small glass bottle. Bottled Faeries act as items on the Neopets website. They are sold at Kauvara's Magic Shop and are also sometimes given out as prizes for certain games of chance, such as the Alien Aisha Vending Machine and Tombola. There are six types of bottled faeries, each of which correspond to one of the six types of faeries that inhabit Neopia. If a Neopet releases a faerie from its bottle prison, the newly freed faerie will bless the Neopet with a special ability that can be used in the Battledome.
Abilities

Faerie abilities are acquired cumulatively - meaning that in order for a pet at level 9 to get the Haste ability, it must be blessed by an Air Faerie three times. To release the faerie from the bottle, the item must be in the player's inventory. The drop-down menu will offer the option for the active Neopet to be blessed by the faerie. Only if the pet's level is high enough will it gain a new ability, otherwise the faerie will simply fly away.

- There is an image for a Bottled Grey Faerie on Neopets Image Server; however, it is unlikely that the Bottled Grey Faerie will ever be released as an item.
- Users can unlock the Bless you, Shoyru secret avatar by owning a Shoyru and having it release a bottled faerie. This avatar has been available since April 2, 2004.
