The Darkest Knight (sometimes Black Knight), was a Skeith knight in dark armour who ruled over Market Town. He was exiled from Meridell, and built a Keep overlooking Market Town. Because he ruled unfairly and taxed maliciously, he was eventually killed by the villagers in an uprising. His Keep was left standing in ruins as a monument. The Darkest Faerie reanimated his ghost during the events of Neopets: The Darkest Faerie, but he was eventually defeated by Tor, freeing Market Town of his and the Darkest Faerie's curse.
