Teeks can only be built in Tangor's Workshop in Moltara City by combining Miscellaneous Gears, Shiny Obsidian and Red Moltite.
The Teek is named for the sound it tends to make when it gets too hot or angry. Turning the lever on top however can release some of the pressure.
