Captain Scarblade

Captain Scarblade is the self-proclaimed ruler of the five seas of Neopia, along with his crew of pirates on their ship, The Revenge. He is the main antagonist of the Curse of the Maraqua plot. During the war, players could either side with him and the pirates and help destroy Maraqua or side with the Maraquans and try to stop him. He was the war boss for the Neopets who sided with the Maraquans.
Captain Dread attacked the Old Maraqua when they wouldn't pay him a tax. Scarblade started a new attack a few years later against New Maraqua when he learned the Maraquans survived. Scarblade and his pirates lost, but escaped when their attack failed. Scarblade has intense rivalries with many pirates, including the famed Captain Cruciblack.
