She wasn't originally a [[Zafara]] but a human-witch with a green face and long nose, akin to the witch in [[Wikipedia:The Wizard of Oz (1939 film)|The Wizard of Oz]]. Her transformation into a Zafara occurred May 1, 2003, after "accidentally falling into a cauldron filled with one of her potions." This was because "there are no humans in Neopia".

She is featured in the game [[Edna's Shadow]], where she and her shadow become separated accidentally in a magical experiment.
