Hasee Bounce Guide
You know in those cartoons and funny movies where people use
see-saws to catapult other people into the air? Well this game is
exactly like that! This means there is lots of cheap fun to be
had for all!
Using your mouse to position your Hasee left or right, you are in
control of both Hasees. However, this control does not occur
simultaneously. You can only be in control of one Hasee at a
time, and this occurs after the Hasee has been catapulted into
the air and landed on a tree branch. Imagine a large seesaw.
Above that, large air space and then a large tree branch at the
top. In the air space are yummy doughnutfruit, which for some odd
reason fly from the left to the right of the screen and vice
versa. Your aim is to catch these fruit either by making one
Hasee fall or catapulting the other Hasee into the air to catch
these doughnutfruits. The amount of bounces is limitless; however
there are time limits to max out you score.
Every now and again, pieces of dung (must be from Meridell) and
slime fly across the screen. Catch any of these and you'll have
the pleasure of seeing you Hasee go, "Bleh!! Gross!" and then see
stars around their heads.
Like carnival of terror, there is an option to extend your time.
This takes the form of letters spelling the word 'HASEE'. Catch
all the letters and your time will be extended. However there is
a catch. The letters are colored purple and orange, and if a
letter is orange, only your orange Hasee can catch the letter.
Karillai informs me that catching all the letters will give you a
+20 second time bonus. However, if you can manage to catch the
letters in all one color i.e. all orange or all purple, then the
time bonus is +40 seconds! Neat huh!
With your time maxed, make sure you try to gain even more points
by catching the different colored doughnutfruit that occasionally
fly across the screen. You will know when they will come by the
following appearing on your screen, "Yipee! A gold
doughnutfruit!!!" or any other color). Catch these and you'll be
in rainbow heaven!
It's worthwhile to note that if your Hasee is in a branch ready
to jump down to catch some letters, clicking the jump button will
not result in your Hasee falling straightaway. The Hasee will
actually jump up first, which may put off you timing by a few
seconds.
You can actually play this game in three ways. The first way is
by catching the fruits by jumping down, the second by catapulting
the other Hasee into the air, and the third a combination of the
two. No doubt you'll be playing the third, as it's the best! Good
luck!
Ever wondered why your pet has 'rejected' a petpet you gave it? If you give your pet a petpet which has the same number of letters in its species name as the pets PERSONAL name then your pet will not accept it! This is true in every case. For example, I spent 1.4 million NP on a Moltenore (note - 9 letters), gave it to my pet Kwoorenya (note - also 9 letters), and it said 'ARRGH, get that Moltenore away from me!!!' Aha. This can be solved however by painting your petpet so its species name is longer, i.e. 'Faerie Moltenore' instead of 'Moltenore.' True! - Missy
