I finally got hit by a glitch. Pretty hard too. I only had about 150 k np.

I looked at auctions and saw a fairly-cheap-priced Iron lupe sword, but not too much that there'd be a bid every 5 seconds. Naturally, i went for it.

When the auction was over, i assumed I had won, the np was still gone, but no item. I waited. Still no item. The only reason i am not angrier is because i found a normal golden nerkmid not too long after, which sells for decent amount of np. Strange coincidence. I suppose I was lucky.

The editorial says that you should file a bug report so they can fix the glitch, but it just dawned on me that it says nothing about replacing the missing item or the NP!

Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!

they never do

But i dont blame them. Theyd be flooded with fakes, and they wouldn't be able to tell which is which.

That's a shame. And all you can do is send in a report...you don't even get anything thing back...item/np. Sorry to hear about this. Man, the site has been pretty glitchy lately.

That is very lucky.

It sucks that you lost all that money, but it could've been much worse, so I suppose that's something to be happy about. Oh and your Nerkmid too. ;)

Yep. Basically, the only place glitch-free so far is the front page...

when i first saw the title, i thought someone was frozen again... :P

anyway, i hope you recover that loss soon..i don't really trust the auctions these days.

anyone saw a post in bd neochat about someone who lost 40m to a np pool reset glitch. from what i heard, if the np in your pool goes over 40m, it gets reset to 1 np. terrible glitch... :o

Hmmm....I'm lucky. I've never gotten scammed over my four years on Neo....and I've been trading lately.

If that's true then I don't want to be the next one who wins Test Your Strength, its over 73M right now! The last winner won 34M so thats just under the reset thinggy.

Yes, indeedy, Donna spoke like a true politician in that one. Notice she never answered the poor person's question.

After they changed the way the auctions were handled, I stopped using it for anything worthwhile. About the first day after the change, I received a neomail saying one of my omelettes had "disappeared." Right then and there, I knew it was bad news. If a 20 np omelette could disappear, then so could a gazillion np battledome item. So, no more auctions for me. Too risky.

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

Don't feel bad. I lost my whole account. They froze it for no reason.
It's worth about 12,000,000 in NP and 48,000,000 NP in items and weapons.
My pet stats were in the 100's with close to a million battledome points.
All gone. Everything. 3 Years. Poof. Thank you so much neopets.
