I know... Its so weird! i went inside the cave in mystery island in that ancient village thing, and then i had -25

That's fairly common and well-known. If you don't have enough NP when an event steals from you, it goes negative.

It basically means that money in your bank isn't safe from being stolen at all, since you still have to make up the difference (so if you go take 25 out of your bank it'll only bring you up to zero)
