- The plot
- The Fortune Teller
- The Temple of One-Thousand Tombs
- Repository
- Gift Shop of One-Thousand Trinkets (You must be outside and not locked out of the temple to get to the Gift Shop.)

- If you want a symbol image for your av or sig, JhasNeeh created some for use here.

Here is an example of a map: http://tim.arlott.com/jas/tombmap.jpg
It is Jasujo's map that she made using the grid method posted by Cerise. Of course, there are many methods, this is just one to give you an idea.

Here is a handmade map by XenaAndGabrielle: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/ ... ap-XaG.jpg
with an explanation of how she goes about it here.

Here is another map made by Twisted Sanity, who uses yet another mapping method: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31/te ... ombmap.gif

Known Facts:

The temple was found through a banner.

Everyone's tomb, doors, and phrases are different.

Your tomb is the same to you each time you enter it.

All passages seem to be two way. You should be able to return to the room you came from. The door may not be in the same position, but one of the doors will return you. Some passages loop and may lead you to the same rooms over and over. Not everyone has a loop in their tomb, but if you do it's okay, just mark it and continue mapping.

There are three library doors and one statue room in each tomb. In the libraries, you can read a scroll, but the effects haven't been found yet. The statue asks for a prophecy, which you will get after completing your tablet.

Library doors
Image Image Image

The libraries should have these scrolls:

astral - Ra, Set, Ahn, Kha
maze - Ben, Lat, Saf, Nem
river - Fer, Djo, Tep, Kar

Here is an image posted my mcgeorge on neoitems displaying all the symbols and scrolls with their names.

Here is a post listing the item descriptions of each of the scrolls. The descriptions describe which library each scroll is in.
===================== THE TEMPLE (START) =====================
There are about 85 rooms, 5 doors in each room (a few might have a blank wall), and a total of around 425 doors.

If you read a scroll, you can't enter for 12 hours. If you get caught in a trap, you can't enter for 1 hour and your pet may temporarily be turned to a pile of sand. If you tell an incorrect prophecy to the faerie statue, you can't enter again for about 40 minutes.

There are 6 door colors and 4 door shapes. The riddles will only tell you the color and shape of the door you need.

Shapes:
A humble portal of stone (rectangle) [just a regular old door]
Mouth of the river (triangle) [think about it ... the place where a river starts will look like a triangle ... because it starts flowing out]
The aspect of a star (pentagon) [5 sides to a standard star]
Window into the soul (oval) [your eyes are ovalish]

Colors:
Blinding radiance of the sun (yellow) [the sun]
Thunderous clouds obscuring the sky (black) [makes it dark]
The waking dawn on the dunes (red) [at dawn, thing all look red]
Banks of the mighty river (green) [everything is green on the banks]
Kingdom of the lightgiver (blue) [the sky is the sun's (lightgiver's) kingdom ... and it is blue]
Bright guardian of the night (silver) [The moon is sort of silverish]

The combination does not tell you which symbol you need, but does limit your search to 12 possible doors to find your statue in.

After you find the Nuria faerie statue and go back to your library and read the scroll with the symbol that was on the statue's base, your pet now understands it.
======================= PARCHMENTS =======================
The fortune teller's phrase has changed to: "I see ancient pharaohs laid at rest." You supposedly need to visit her and see this before moving on.

Then if you play a game of Pyramids, at the end you should see a parchment on the bottom of your screen. This looks to be a clue to rooms as each column has a number, color, symbol, and shape.

If you go the room under the single dot that your parchment describes, you will get an RE which gives you a dirty stone piece. Take that to the toy repair shop on Terror Mountain and you get a piece on your tablet. If you then go to the fortune teller, her phrase is changed:

"So... you've returned," she says. "Something remarkable is happening. I am receiving many images in my crystal ball, images of strange, distant places..."

"...yet I can't make out these images just now. Perhaps something will appear soon. You may view the Mysterious Tablet if you wish."

If the dirty stone piece that you get from your trapped room ends up being destroyed by Donny at the Toy Repair Shop (he sometimes has trouble cleaning it for some reason), then all you will need to do is go back to the temple immediately. Do not wait. You will receive a new piece that you can bring to Donny to try cleaning up.

A while after the first piece of your tablet is filled in, the fortune teller changes to this clue: "I see debris on a frigid battlefield."

That leads you to play a game of Snow Wars (not the flash game, the original HTML Battleship-like one), after which you should find your second parchment. On this one, you find the door under the double dots.

After the second piece, the fortune teller changes again, "I see a rivalry of five."

That leads you to place a bet and feed one of the poogle in Poogle Races to get the third parchment once you've placed your bet. On the third parchment, you find the door under the triple dots.

After the third piece, the fortune teller gives the next clue: "I see fortunes cast upon the waters."

This leads you to go to the Underwater Cavern. Simply go fishing, and you'll find the fourth parchment. You'll find the door under the four dots.

For the fifth clue, go to the fortune teller and get this message: "I see countless eyes." Then lose at Potato Counter and that gives you your next parchment. Find the door under the five dots and you're on your way.

On the sixth clue, the fortune teller says: "I see a great deal of fun." If you spin the Wheel of Mediocrity, then try to spin a second time, you'll get your sixth parchment. Find the door under the six dots to get the next piece.

On the seventh clue, the fortune teller will tell you "I see a rule that must be broken" Go to the Lever of Doom, and a pull will get you the parchment. You must have 100np on hand. The door under the seven dots will get your next piece.

The eighth clue, you are told: "Today's lotto number is [numbers]" Go to Kreludor, and fill in the Mining Corp. with the numbers, different to everybody. This'll get you the eighth piece of parchment, which will tell you which room to go to beneath the eight dot header.

For the ninth clue, the fortune teller says: "I see a tournament that rolled on." Go to The Krawk Island Deckball Championships. Then click on Players. If you scroll down, you will see Prince Jazan's name. Click on it and you will get your parchment. Follow the door under nines dots.

For the tenth clue, the fortune teller says: "I see a chia resting by a tree." Have one of your pets take a Tiki Tour. Your parchment should be on the first page after you sign up for the tour. Find the door under the ten dots.

For the eleventh clue, the fortune teller says: "I see you lost in the darkness." Play a game of Fetch while seeking any Faerie Dust (refresh the request screen until you get that for your quest.). Your parchment should appear at the lose screen (you do not need to find the item). Find the door under the eleven dots.

For the twelvth clue, the fortune teller says: "I see you giving into your dreams." Wish for a Hieroglyph Fragment at the Wishing Well and make a donation. Follow the door under the twelve dots.

Also, it seems the new clues are coming out at about 1:30 and 7:30 NST, every six hours.
======================== TRANSLATING ========================
Completed your Tablet?
Once you have done that, go and look at the first 3 comics for the plot. The symbols are embedded within the comic! Here's a list of where you can find the appropriate symbols:

LAT & FER (cup & paw) on 1-1
KHA (fish) on 1-2
SAF (the Y-thing) on 1-3
----------------
AHN (ankh) on 2-1
SET & RA (pillar & sun) on 2-2
TEP (eye) on 2-3

-------------------
DJO (2 flags) on 3-1
BEN (chick) on 3-2
NEM (river) on 3-3
KAR (leaf) on 3-4

If you hover over them, you can click it. Click them in the order as you see on your tablet, reading LEFT TO RIGHT, Top row to Bottom Row. If a symbol comes up 2x in a row, click it twice. 3x, click it 3x. (etc) Once you have done that correctly, a pop up will come up. It redirects you to the tablet, with an avatar + a translation to what the tablet means. Surprise, surprise, everyone's translation's are slightly different!

Now, go to the room that had the faerie in it. Tell it the translation that you were given to the statue. At the next screen, be sure to scroll all the way down. It's a bit long, but it's interesting.

Once you have submitted your translation, you will end back up in front of the statue. You can get out of that room by submitting an incorrect translation. You'll incur the regular lockout time and then start back in front of the tomb.

The Lost Desert map has changed and Sakhmet as well as other places have disappeared.

Sometime later, the Fortune Teller lets you in to a little gossip she's overheard.

She calls out to you again as you turn to leave. "Oh! I almost forgot. I heard something about a few of Princess Amira's ministers, who were outside of Sakhmet when it vanished. They're going to get that new scroll repository finished so that they can use it as a library, and try to figure out how to bring Sakhmet City back. I don't know when the project is starting, though."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX=== REPOSITORY (SAND - COMPLETED) ===XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The Repository!
Now if you look at the bare Lost Desert Map, on the TOP RIGHT corner you'll see footprints leading to the Repository. Click it!

You'll be faced with Grarrl guards and will be prompted to say something to them. You'll be given a few options. Depending on what symbol was on your faerie's statue, select one of the following:

AHN: "I'm here with extra charcoal for the caterers"
SAF: "I'm here with the royal census. You're not a Ruki! Get out of my way!"
KHA: "I don't have sand that color yet! Don't you know who I am?"
BEN: "I'm here to prepare food for your Elephante workers."
DJO: "Did that Anubis get its 15-minute break yet?"
LAT: "This sand contains traces of faeryllium. To the laboratory!"
FER: "You guys should drink more water before you get heat stroke."
RA: "That tent over there has insufficient ventilation. I'll have to write you a citation"
SET: "I know I'm late, but I'm here to deliver an important royal message"
KAR: "I'm the food specialist for your herbivore workers"
TEP: "I'm here to chronicle the construction of this repository."
NEM: "Have you thought about triple-glazing your windows?? It's fun and functional!"

The responses correspond with the name of the scroll that matches your faerie statue symbol. If you select the wrong response, you'll have a 30 minute wait before you can try again.

(NOTE: Make sure you have READ your understood scroll from the appropriate library in the tombs beforehand and it was the last scroll you've read. Otherwise your correct option will NOT show up.)

Once you have selected the correct option, you'll meet up with a nice-mannered character who asks you to get a diggin' to help dig out the repository! (Note: This part is completed and you can no longer carry sand.)

Do it. And you'll get a handful of sand (and possibly other goodies!). However, you'll need to take it back to civilization before trying again. Time to retry is based off agility, so use your fastest Neopet.

Possible waiting times:
Agility: 0-30 every 3 hours
Agility: 31-45 every 2.5 hours
Agility: 46-60 every 2 hours
Agility: 61-75 every 1.5 hours
Agility: 75+ every hour

In the end 104,034 handfuls of sand unearthed the Respository, but someone obviously forgot space for scrolls when planning the monolith.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX=== REPOSITORY (BLOCKS - COMPLETED) ===XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Then go back to the Repository and the foreman says:
You! Get to work!

The foreman jabs his finger toward the scroll repository pyramid. "Looks like you're gonna be haulin' blocks now. Five to a block! And don't let me catch you slackin', we gotta get this pyramid built fast." He taps his cudgel menacingly.

Go haul some blocks. You have to click a brown block to haul along with four other pets. Each movable block has a symbol on it, which you will see after you click on it. Find a block with the symbol from the base of your faerie statue. If you are able to move it, refresh until there are five pets showing. Stay there until all slots are filled. Once there are five pets who match the symbol, you will get to move the block. (Note: This part is completed and you can no longer haul blocks.)

If you succeed in pulling the block, there should be an item behind it and the 5 pullers fight for it by rolling a die. If you get the highest roll and win, you get the item. If not you have to wait until you can try hauling again.

If you do not succeed in pulling the block, you have to wait again as well. Waiting time approximately 15-60 minutes. If you click on a wrong block or get scarabed, you have a 30 minute wait.

When you are let back in the repository, you are where you last hauled a block.

XXXXXXXXXXXX=== REPOSITORY (FURNITURE - COMPLETED) ===XXXXXXXXXXXX
With all the blocks removed, the repository was ready so scrolls can be stored there.... or is it? You're directed to another tent with a team of Rukis preparing furniture for the repository.

A team of Rukis hammers, chisels, and carves the giant stone blocks into various pieces of furniture.

The eldest Ruki notices you enter. "Hullo! Come to see what kinda furniture we're making, eh?" He points at one of the stone blocks in the middle of the tent. "You can take a look at our progress if ya like. You'd best get familiar with this stuff. You're gonna be the one carrying it inside when we're done!"

The fortune teller's message has changed:

She calls out to you again as you turn to leave. "That scroll repository they're building sure looks like it's gonna take a while. Sakhmet City is trapped in another dimension, plagued by zombies -- or so I hear -- and meanwhile, the remainder of Neopia quietly watches a handful of Rukis making furniture. Remarkable.

Finally it seems that the furniture has all been completed

The furniture sits in haphazard piles, all sanded and painted. The Rukis relax on some extra benches, taking a break after all their hard work. The eldest Ruki sees you and waves. "Well, we're finally done with all the furniture! Even had some extras. Ah, but before you can put the furniture into the repository, the interior decorator is figuring out where everything goes. Putting down chalk outlines, so I hear." He leans back and sighs. "This oughta be the easy part!"

The foreman's message has changed:

You! Get to work!

The foreman glares at you. "Well what are ya standing around for? Get to movin' the furniture!"
(Note: The moving of Furniture seems to have finished. The following cannot be done anymore)

Now you can move furniture. First go to the Ruki tent and grab some furniture. Then talk to the Interior Decorator inside the scroll repository. He will tell you which floor you need to go to. Then double click on an outline that your furniture piece should match to place it down. Tables are big squares, benches are small rectangles, lamps are circles and scroll racks are the other one. You cannot put furniture on blurry lines. Those spaces mark stolen furniture. Every once in a while, the blured outlines reset.

Once you have placed your piece of furniture, proceed back to the entrance of the Repository. There will be a button to exit if you stand in the entrance. You may now decide to pick another piece of furniture from the Rukis, reenter the repository, and repeat the process above once more. There is no waiting time if your furniture was placed correctly.

The lockout time seems to be 30 minutes. You will get locked out if you attempt to place a piece of furniture on the wrong shape or if you try and return your piece of furniture. If you return your furniture to the Rukis, the lockout is only 10 minutes.

The Interior Decorator (ID) has moved to Neopia! He seems to move about on different floors at random intervals, so this information may not be the most recent. But, I'm pretty sure he's staying where he is now.
=============== REPOSITORY (MAP W/ FURNITURE) =================
New maps with furniture placements (updated by Alex and Illyria):

Map code:
red = scroll rack
light blue = lamp
green = table
purple = bench

The Foreman's message has changed with the completion of the moving:
The scroll repository is now fully furnished. All that remains is to stock it with scrolls. Thankfully, there's a staff of expert librarians on hand to put all the scrolls into the right positions.

We finally outdid those thieves!

The foreman looks up at the gleaming scroll repository pyramid. "Looks like we managed to keep ahead of those thieves -- just barely, though. Who knows what they wanted with all that furniture? I bet it'll show up on the black market soon." He shakes his head. "Well, the construction's all done. Guess that means I'm out of a job." He sighs, sits in the corner, and sulks.

=============== REPOSITORY (GETTING THE CRYSTAL) ================
The Repository is now open for business!

Now you have to find the foreman in the repository (at second floor, row 20, column 5). He is now a chef. Talk to him. Then visit the gift shop. There you will be given an Empty Vial. Equip the vial and fight a Spirit of the Ruins in the Battledome. You do not need to win the battle, just use the vial as a weapon against him and it will become a Smoky Vial. Then you can withdraw from the fight by going to the Status page. Unequip the vial and take it to the gift shop. There you will get a t-shirt. Bring this to the Chef/ex-foreman and he will give you a Useless Crystal.

Note: You must have completed your tablet and spoken the prophecy to the statue in order to get the crystal. You do not get the correct message from the Chef / Foreman if you haven't been covered in scarabs.

Also, the placement of scrolls on the racks in the repository is different for everyone.
=========== REPOSITORY (OPEN FOR BUSINESS/ THE LIGHT!) ===========
The Fortune Teller's Message has change
She calls out to you again as you turn to leave. "Oh, I heard that the scroll repository is now open for business. Just a bunch of scrolls, at first, can you believe that? How is anyone supposed to find anything? At least now they've put in a card catalog and signs on the rooms, so you know where you are!"

As you head back inside the repository, three of the scroll racks are colored red, blue, and yellow. Each rack contains a room names and a corresponding symbol (as usual, each directory is different for everyone). The fifth floor seems to have a secret passage (at the bottom right corner of that floor). Take the chain of stairs down from what you can see. It will lead you to a room that contains a model of Sakhmet and a notch on the highest tower. If you have the Useless Crystal, CLICK that notch and the crystal will be placed in the notch (as of now the crystal will remain in your inventory.) If dark, this proves to be useless.

See the Light?
Note: Light appears appx every 8 hours.
If you refresh into the room with the model of Sakhmet and it is BRIGHT, after you place the crystal in the notch, 12 colored lights will show up on the right wall. There will be 4 red lights, 4 blue lights, 4 yellow lights, and 4 blanks in SOME order (which again, is different for each user).

Scroll Name Locations
*Basement (Thanks Bekkichan!)
* Floor 1 | Key (THANKS to supRNurs!!)
* Floor 2 (gasp! supRNurs helps once again!)
* Floor 3 (?)
* Floor 4 (THANKS to supRNurs once again!) *Edited "boundaries" a bit
* Floor 5: Selected Royal Works

Alternatively, there is a petpage here or here that happens to have all of the levels mapped out for you.
>>>OOO>>>=== REPOSITORY (THE MESSAGE...) ===<<<OOO<<<
Using the Lights
1) Match up the light sequence to your tablet. 4 symbols will fall under "red", 4 for "yellow", 4 for "blue", 4 will be left blank (ignore these)
2) Now go to your directory (colored racks at start) to find the symbol/location match to what you did on part 1
3) The order of the COLORs you need to read the directories is determined by your CRYSTAL. Go to your inventory and look at the color order on top of the crystal.
4) Now click the colored directory that is the same as the first color on your crystal. Take the symbols that were designated for that color and read them in order as found in your DIRECTORY (NOT your tablet). If a symbol repeats, read it again.
5) Repeat this process for your second and third color.
6) If you have done this correctly, at the end you will recieve a message about a sharp eye

Getting Crystal II
WARNING: DO NOT MOVE YOUR CRYSTAL ANYWHERE. IT MAY DISAPPEAR
1. Fall into a spike trap in your temple (there doesn't seem to be any real way to tell which doors lead to spike traps). Click on the bottom skull's left eye and you will get a new crystal. In case that doesn't work, change the url to: http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/temple.phtml?ucmc=1 and you will get a new crystal.

2. Go back to your card catalogs in the repository. They will have a "wet paint" sign and be totally different (same colors, different scrolls).

3. Go to your model city room when you have light (which comes appx every 8 hours) and insert the new crystal... which will give you red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and/or purple lights.

4. Now, go back to your tablet, map out your NEW colors. Now cross out any symbols that (a) are blank or (b) have not changed. [8 left]

5. Start at the BOTTOM of your tablet going in REVERSE order.

6. Using the idea of colors (Orange = Red + Yellow, Green = Blue + yellow, Purple = Red + Blue) break down each color and read its primary colors.
--> EX: You have an Orange Set. Read a RED set and YELLOW set. It seems that the order to read is determined by your card catalog order.

7. If you do the above correctly, you will get a location. If you do it INcorrectly, just redo the last set (no need to start all over again). Read the COMBINED color as you mapped [purple, orange, green] (in the example, you'd read the ORANGE set) in that location. However, you will NOT get a confirmation message this time.

8. Now repeat steps 5 ~ 7 (remember, going in REVERSE TABLET order) 'til you are done. and get a final clue, which states that This clue does not exist (or something to that effect)

Crystal III
1. You need to find a trap with a Jelly Blob (after all creatures made out of Jelly do not exist ;)) You'll recieve the crystal after clicking the lower left part of the image (it's a small piece of the bone in the blob.)

2. Go back to the card catalog (there's no need to go to your model duering the light time as it reflects the secondary pattern), you'll notice that your card catalogs are different.

3. Looking at spaces that haven't shown light (you should have 4), you need to read one of each basic colored scroll (Red, Blue, Yellow). Read these as they appear on your tablet. However, the order you need to read the scrolls is random and possibly not work in order for the next step. Reading them in the sequence Y - B - R - Y - B - Y - R - B - Y helps in trial and error.

4. If done correctly, you'll be given a location on where to find a white scroll with your sign.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you get a clue with strange symbols.

Crystal IV
1. Go to the RIDDLE TRAP. Click the alien-like figure on the bottom left part of the image. There, you'll get your 4th crystal.

2. Go back to the city model and place the crystal-combo into the slot when the light is on (again, occurs about every 8 hrs). Once that happens, KABOOM. The wall explodes.

3. Click the hole in the wall and then you'll get a special scroll, that's somewhat un-understandable to you. (Oh, your crystal goes away too)

4. Go to the Fortune teller and show her the scroll...

5. ...?

So bad?
Humm...

Before labeling the story a bad one, I think we should see things in context. As far as I know since its inception Neopet has come a long way from sub-par graphics to ones of professional standard. The same will be eventually said for their stories.

As for the storyline, there may have been time constraint and budgetary reasons. If you haven't been there, you may not know that sometimes you have to cram too much in too little space because you are asked to. I know : worse is no excuse for bad (do I get this one right?).

Disney in the 20 and 30's would consistently push the enveloppe to get better quality. Disney was losing money on each short films they made but they had a vision and an attitude for quality.
The Simpson decided for their second season to invest more in the show (instead of just reaping the already substancial merchandising
revenues) in order to achieve a better quality.
In all good faith I believe TNT will learn from this plot and make the next one better.
When you finish a production, you look at it and probably see for yourself some of the mistakes you have made. And believe me they haunt you for the rest of your life. To paraphrase Goethe : those who don't understand the past are doomed to relive it.

I have to admit this is my first Neopet plot and I did have fun despite the tediousness of some tasks and the waiting periods.

If this end was predictable, and if Neopets has really learned from glancing at the forums like this one, we're in for a real surprise on the next plot and an unpredictable ending.
This site, plot and games are entertainment and most of the time we have been entertained. A bad ending you think? but let's not that spoil the overall feeling you have.
A French screenwriter by the name of Jean-Pierre Melville once wrote what makes a good film. Loosely translated it goes like this: A good film is made up of 50% script, 50% directing, 50 lighting, 50% music, 50% acting, 50% editing etc. because if any of these is wrongly done, the film is half as good.

Once more, I think we will go the trinket shops to redeem our hardearned points of the LDP.

p.s. : and remember, according to TNT we are guests and as such I don't want to be an annoying one.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, xxxholic, Full Metal Alchemist, Fruit Baskets, Ergo Proxy, now what is next ? hints wanted from knowledgeable anime fan.

I'm just hoping things don't totally stop as soon as they put the ending up. I just lost my third crystal while landing on the Pant Devil in Dice-a-Roo yesterday and I have to do all the crystals over again. >.< A little more time would be nice as this is going to take forever to catch up.

Well to be honest, I think this plot was half finished. It was mostly good, comic-wise, until the very end. But there were so many loose threads that I'd liked to have seen incorporated. Nuria, for example, more of the Nightsteed, etc.

If they'd sped up the comic releases and gotten more in there, the plot could still have matched up with the comics, but the comics would have ended better.

The last plot ending was lame and tnt certainly heard about it :P But a certain percentage of much younger player guarentees lame endings rather than evil princess Nabile and her sugar daddy Jazan being rulers of the zombie people =/

Ah well it's not like I wasn't expecting it, but I am bemused as to just where the scroll repository fitted in to everything! But at least it's over :D

Quite frankly they ran out of time, we had snarkie and dirtside on here giving us hints which to me looks like they were really worried people weren't going to get close to finishing in time. And at this rate there will be practically no space between the lost desert plot and the darkest faerie one.

Edit: <- zomg, I'm ancient! *falls over*

I completely agree. This plot was great, the comics were fun to read, the puzzles rather enjoyable and well thought off, but at the end, there's still too many loose ends and it all comes to a sudden stop it seems.
But as master_cat said, TNT did work hard and there's many factors to take into account. A very important one probably is the Darkest Faerie stuff. If you release something that has to make a profit, you also have to promote it. So what's the best way to promote something on neopets? Well, put it into a plot and most players will at least hear about it. The best timing for this is right before it comes out, so well, they just had to make this end so quickly if they wanted to be done in time for that release.

Just one note on 'predictable' endings: the problem with endings, and stories in general, is that it has all been done before. It is really hard to even do 'plot twists' since every possible story exists in the first place. The cast and setting may change, but story and plot have been the same since Alexander the Great or Confucius.

Same thoughts :)

I would have rather they finished this plot in say.. next week. Something like letting us find clues alike that in the MI plot for the last leg of this race to the finish.

It just seems too abrupt of an ending for me. But it's really a very nicely done plot with the exception of the ending being too "rushed". I can imagine how much work it took the programmers to make the temple/repository unique to everyone so that the "click to win" thing doesn't happen again!

Yes, TNT definitely deserves applause for the puzzle portion of the plot so far. The repository and scroll sequences were quite a challenge, and I love a good challenge! I didn't care too much for the "busy work" aspects, like moving sand and furniture. Although, block moving was rather fun because of the teamwork aspect.

However, the base of my Nuria statue still reads:
Quote:
Whosoever shall speak the prophecy here, shall be rewarded with treasures beyond compare

I'm just not happy with a pile of scarabs!!

Even after the text preview (which may change), I still feel there are loose-ends to tie up - Nuria and our scrolls are the first to mind. I only hope they aren't left this way....

I'm clueless about programming (or computers in general).. so :P

But I'm sure it's definitely more work involved than just making a page that everyone sees the same of!

Can we all agree that the puzzle was great (which it was) while the comic was a little too predictable (which it turned out to be)? I know I can agree to that. We had a really great puzzle, but the comic was less than inspired for the older players like us.
