I havent seen anybody put them side by side like this before.... now, the uni and poogle were allready a bit "cute", but i mean, look at what they look like now. Back then, they were different creatures you could take care of, and they looked "cool".... and now, they are like pokemon and they look "adorable"...... I have no idea what else to say. o_O


I like the newer versions. You cannot say none of these revamps were an improvement to the old ugly versions. Would you want the Lennies back to the way they were? And the Moehog's and Wocky's back to the way they were?

Most likely due to legal reasons. If this petpet truly looked like Predator, I'm sure they asked Neopets to change its look.

wow I lost track of how many have been updated since I joined! I miss my old wocky, it was red just like that one :( I thought it was much cuter even if it did look flat, and even if some of the new poses were better. The only good thing to come out of it was I got a lab map just before they were inflated by that 'pwned' avatar. I was busy with school at the time but I got sick of looking at the new doofusy circle pose every time I logged in, so I decided he'd be my lab pet. He might end up a kougra or gelert, I still like those OK even after revamps.

I don't think all the new ones look like pokemon, only a couple like the poogle and koi look anime-ish to me, the rest look Disney-fied. *is glad that kyrii are usually overlooked*
