11th and 12th August - Discovery of Brightvale!

This weekend the Neopets TCG Mall Tour will be in Independence, MO. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by. There will be Neopets Artists there to draw you sketches and much, much more!

Brightvale, the neighbouring kingdom to Meridell is home to all kinds of scholarly things. The land is ruled by King Skarl's brother King Hagan who values knowledge above all and despairs of his impetuous little brothers ways.

As well as its fine books and magical items, Brightvale is famous for their ornate windows. If you think your Neohome needs a little light, be sure to stop by Brightvale Glaziers.

You can now create a Neohome in Brightvale.
As a side note, there have been some delays with the construction of Neohomes recently. Don't panic, your home will be finished shortly and we apologise for the wait.

Why not try your hand at the Wheel Of Knowledge? You could win anything from a super rare Plushie to a job coupon (yes we really mean it!).

Sutek's Tomb is the latest game to be fully translated into into Chinese (simplified and traditional), French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Japanese.

Brightvale Books has an excellent collection of some of the oldest and well respected books around.

There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Tyrammet Village.

A new Caption Contest has begun. Today it features King Hagan himself!

Can you beat the Tax Beast at Better Than You? You could win a Babaa if you do :)

Not every battle is won by the sharpest sword. The Scrollery has a fine collection of magical scrolls that could give you that winning edge in the Battledome.

Well done Emowen, your shop The Superhero Hall of Fame has just won this week's Gallery Spotlight award.

There are two new banners for Snowmuncher that you may see in the yellow bar as you browse the site. We are going to try and do two different exciting buttons for each game from now on!

Deavers are the latest Petpet to be awarded the PPL prize. Congratulations Caspar Weinberger, Monkey Cheese, Chew Foo, Chomper, Long-Tooth, *squirly_pine*, Decible Detector, Disco stu and Gary!

Yes!

This week's Petpet Spotlight award has been given to FireDusk the Donksaur.

Now you can own a rather colourful Rainbow Ruki!

Mr_Archie and The_cowz_jacuzzi are the latest Site Spotlight award winners for their web page - the Association For The Freedom Of Oppressed Plushies.

The Faerie Furniture shop has some new lamps, tables, chairs and sofas with a light faerie theme.

This week's Neoadventure Spotlight award has been given to Undeadfortune for their adventure - The Day the Space Station Stood Still.
Your team plays leap frog up the hallway to the control room, until you're right outside the door. You motion for them to stop and you press your head to the metal, hoping to hear for any signs of life on the other side.

Kauvara has been really busy lately. She has just released a whole ton of new Peophin Morphing Potions in her Magic Shop.

Arrr the latest Pirate Cave Of The Week award has been given to Cheopspyramid for their cave - Jail Break.

It keeps disappearing, so here it is!

No Kougra re-revamp :x

Hooray! You get to spin again!
Hooray! You get to spin again!
Hooray! Your Neopet feels more knowledgable!

Better than Coltzan's "Your Neopet feels more intelligence", I guess.

"Without an education, one is more likely to become a jester than a king."

Ah, we also know where the new job coupons come from.
I wonder how rare it is to land on it.
