I was in the auctions and I bid 28k on a Shadow PB. Before that I had about 208k np then shortly afterwards I had about 279k np. I filed a report, but its just weird. I mean where did the np go? It might be wishful thinking, but maybe it will come back after the auction is over.

Auctions are really glitchy now, there have been a couple of threads like this.

Yeah I saw some other posts like this. It just feels better to tell people. At least before the np vanished I found a White PB for 50 np, I guess that more than makes up for it.

How strange, other people on PPT have also said that they have found things after losing NPs/items on the auctions. But, still, it isn't fair and they really ought to fix the stupid auction glitch (yes, I said "stupid")--the game isn't fun unless it is reliable. Someone at Neopets should have figured that out by now, don't you think?

I am really sorry that you had to go through that, Digital Fiction. Glitches are a real pain (I should know--I should be given the title "Glitch Queen"--or at least be a runner-up). Anyway, holler if there is anything I can do to help.

If you bid on the Shadow pb in the auctions, the np will dissappear until the auction ends, it's the new rule.........

Wait are you serious? I never saw anything about that. That ridiculous if its true there is no reason for them to hold the np.

I think finding that other PB was just total coincidence, It was on sale in a shop for 50NP, what idiot would do that? unless its a dumb New Member.

I don't think it's a rediculous rule. I hate it when people put fake bids in and then can't shell out the money. I mean, if you're gonna legitimately put money down, then you obviously should be serious about putting it toward the item and shouldn't miss it anyhow.

Oh, Digital Fiction, I misunderstood your post. I thought you didn't get the nps back after the auction had closed (others have posted about that happening to them).

Like untouchable dragon said, the current procedure is that Neopets deducts the nps from your "cash on hand" as soon as you bid and holds onto them until the auction has closed. Then, supposedly, you get those nps back. This has been in effect for at least a couple of months.

That's not always true. The auctions are glitchy. I didn't get the nps for something I sold in the auctions, but instead got a neomail from TNT telling me that the item had "disappeared." And some1onhere just wrote a topic about losing all of the nps that they had bid on a iron lupe sword: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4622
