Islands don't float. Underground on an island is no more underwater than underground on other land.
The idea of the volcano should make that clear -- how could there be magma burbling up from the planet's core if the volcano isn't attached to the planet?
Well, yeah, I know it's not all underwater for an island, but you can't go underground for every one of the worlds and expect it to be different for each.
Well, there aren't any underground worlds yet (except the catacombs I suppose). Undeground Krawk Island (within the caverns and such) would be pretty orignal. Like in Hannah and the Caves. I don't really know what they would put down there, but if Krawk Island ever needed to be expanded, underground would be cool.
And like I've said a few times, Mystery Island could have the "Ruined City" (I finally looked up the actual name) hidden deep within the jungle. Sure, there is no jungle visible on the map right now, but that is where a nice map revamp comes in (like the ever cool Ice Caves).

All reasonable arguments aside. Meridell is the best world and my favorite. The more is added too it and the more attention it gets the happier I'll be. 
I do think that they need to add some things to some other worlds, and underground krawk island sounds sweet. A pirate caves map would be awesome. Same with mystery island and building upon the ruined city in the cards. They could easily throw a city 'deep withing the jungle' It's not like these maps are to scale. Maraqua-- well what doesn't need done there. And when's the last time anything was done with faerieland? Sure it has the two maps, but it could use some redrawing. Not to mention that, if needed, a city in the clouds could easily be expanded upon.

I don't see the big deal in Meridell having so many expansions to it. Atleast it shows TNT is doing something rather then endorsing plushies at the moment, all the worlds that don't have extra expansions don't really need them quite honestly, maybe updating some of there looks could be put into motion and adding some things to the map, but thats about all, nothing drastic.
Even though the idea of being able to go into the Mystery Island jungle does intriuge me.
