Ohhh,you belong! I dont have many friends,but the ones I have are awesome. You just gotta wait for them. If you see a post by someone saying they like something you like,and seem to be a reasonable person you could imagine talking to,PM them and start a conversation. If you two get along,try asking to be friends.

Thats pretty much how I met Messs17,my best buddy. We seemed to be posting after each other a lot and we kind of took a liking to eachother. Then I found out more about him,and PMed him to tell him to quit being my twin. Even since then we have been friends.

The only reason I have absolutely hundreds of friends on here is because I had only just joined and at the same time had only just got MSN. Therefore, I was at my "scan everyone's profile for MSN addresses if you like them" stage. And then I got AIM. So I did the same thing. X_x

So now almost absolutely everyone who posts on one single post is my friend. X_x

Don't feel so left out, okay? I know it's hard making friends right now. You'll get your share of feeling like people are ignoring you, and yes, sometimes that can get annoying. Trust, me, I know. I felt the same exact way when I first joined, and it stayed that way for the next few months.

But now I have a number of friends, because I kept my head held high and made a good reputation for myself through RPing and helping people out when they needed it and things like that. If you're really that desperate to make friends, you can do something like Anubis did when she was looked at people's profiles for their AIM and MSN names so that she could talk to them that way. People will be a lot more welcoming toward you if you appear to want to get to know them better and make friends with them.

I joined PPT sometime in October 2003. Stayed for a long time... I dunno. Maybe four months? I had two friends. Zero! and Midnight. Then I left PPT for a while, I try tocome back, and it had died. Then we came back, and I actually started posting in other people's topics iand in the WG&C board, and now I have a good number of friends, so just keep on posting =D Yuo will get some more eventually

I joined PPT in like April 2003. At that time I had zero friends, and I didn't really start to get friends until around July-August. Then, when I got a LiveJournal in November, a bunch of PPTers added me for what reason I can't remember. And basically all the PPTers who are friends on my LJ are my friends here. (Plus, some of the members from my site are members here)

I first joined in October/November 2002 (with this account anyway), and though I'm a mod I'm not all that popular. Yes, I do get the oocasional friendly PM, but my inbox is usually quite empty and inactive. I wouldn't worry about how popular you are, just be a nice person, follow the rules, and help a bunch of people out and you'll have a good image, which in my opinion is much better than friends.

The best way to get friends isn't to wait for them to come to you. YOU have to go to them. Get in a popular topic that interests you and I bet that you will find friends with some of the same interests as yours. Eventually, you'll find yourself with friends. Some of them, hopefully, you will keep for years to come- it's happened with many people, including me. I met someone on a forum just like this and I have continued to be friends with them for the past two years. So just find someone you think you'd like to be friends with, and message them. Soon, conversations will develope and friendships will be formed.

I have quite a few friends here, but many have left, unfortunately. Most of those friends who are still here I don't talk to often... My first PPT friend was Cae(sara), and only because I somehow made it into PI (the Pink Ink, PPT's newspaper, currently missing in action), and she IMed me... She was the first PPTer I'd even talked to through an instant messenger program, after 8-9 months...

I got more friends by talking about things that interested me. If I wasn't interested in a topic, I didn't post, because what's the fun in having a friend who has nothing in common with you? Sure, you'd be friends with them, and they may be nice, but what would you have conversations about?

Basically, I was a shy weirdo, and that got me friends. xP
