How much do the full sets cost in the TP nowadays? i don't have any species weapons, so that's good.....only I feel my 350k spent on my halloween p/b to paint my Lupe will be wasted. Oh well, I'll probably be zapped into more expensive colours

Last time I checked, I think if you want a full set you'll have to pay 450k or a little more. It is worth it though, as you can get very rare colours from the Lab Ray; also very good stats.

well, to save your halloween lupe (they are pretty nifty, afterall), you might want to consider adopting some poor pet from the pound, or creating another pet, or even opening up another account for that purpose and turning your current account into a gallery account, or whatever you want, really. Anyway, just a thought...

I bought the lab a couple of monthes before the avvy came *phew*. Since then I've had five colour changes (Starry, Pink, Halloween and Island. Fire for a pound pet.), three species changes (Kougra - Yurble - Blumaroo) and alot of stat changes, mostly stat boosts. Oh, and a load of gender changes...once I had like 5 gender changes day after day O_o

The full lab will set you back at least 500k.

Personally, I don't recommend zapping a pet with an expensive paint job. Because you're not guaranteed to get a good color\species combination from the ray.

I only zap one of my pets (I have the full 4 pets in the account), and I'm mostly zapping him for BD stats, but if he turns into one of a few particular color\species combinations, I'm quitting. He was originally a Blue Lupe, but it was well before the rarity of MPs went up when I started zapping him. I did stop zapping him for about a month, after he turned into a Lime Chia, but when the pet I started zapping instead became a Tomato Chia, I went back to zapping the original pet.

(For the record, I want my lab rat to turn into a Robot Kacheek or Grundo, or a Blueberry or Pea Chia - or a Pirate Lupe or Plushie Wocky, if the ray can turn pets Pirate or Plushie)

From my experience, I don't recommend using a lab ray for color zaps, unless you're either aiming for a color that can only be attained through the lab ray (ie, robot, snot or sponge) or are adopting ugly pets and zapping them so they can be adopted by someone else.

Before the rarity of Morphing Potions went up, thus increasing the price, I would have recommended the lab ray as an option (I ran through about 6 Chia MPs and 2 Chia Transmog Potions trying to get a particular color of Chia, and would keep buying them if they weren't so expensive now....)

Full lab map set cost me 560k (bought about 2 weeks ago). Ruddy avatars inflating prices. *shakes fist* I've gotten some good stats out of it though I can't say I'm impressed by the gender change. -.-;

You can get some very rare colours, but also some boring ones.

I started with a Yellow Scorchio which then went to:
Mutant Elephante;
Brown Korbat;
Maraquan Korbat ;
Green Scorchio;
Invisible Scorchio (Random Event) ;
Red Scorchio;
Red Mynci;
Rainbow Mynci (currently)

I bought a full set a couple of months ago for about 450k. But yes, its definately worth it My jubjub turned grey, which would have cost millions if I bought the paintbrush. And my other pets have turned fire, electric, checkered, christmas, purple, striped and into a number of different species.

I bought mine 2 years ago for about 60k *I was given a few peices when they were really cheap too*. How times change..

i paid a lot for mine, i can't remember how much, and i havent had any really rare colours yet, or species changes i just have a terminally confused ixi (due to all the gender changes)

i don't think the lab is worth 450k, i would wait untill the price drops at least under 300k

Yeah, the sooner you buy the lab, the more you can get out of it because its supoose to last for a lifetime so its really priceless.

the one thing about the lab you can depend on is that the price will NEVER drops. so the sooner you buy the better.
from personal experience i think the lab is a great buy. after four months of labbing, it boosted my pet 60hp and 30strength, plus it turned my jubbub coconut
